David Cameron has held crisis talks at Downing Street after being told of allegations of a sensational love affair which has potentially significant political implications for him.
For legal reasons, The Mail on Sunday cannot disclose the identities of the people involved or any details of the relationship even its duration other than that they are middle-aged figures. The affair has now concluded.
But this newspaper can report that when aides told Mr Cameron the identities of the alleged lovers he was stunned, and, according to sources, immediately realised the importance of the story.

Now you are catching on!
I believe that (grassroots — not official) American support for the EDL has had an impact.
The biggest turning point, however, was the public butchering of Lee Rigby.

Hi guys, 1st post.....My money is on Nigel Evans & John Bercow. It’s come out now because of the scrutiny Evans is under for obvious reasons. Maybe Sally & John enjoy an open marriage, often wondered why he puts up with her antics. There had to be some trade off between them.
...and here she is now.
(just kidding).
It is said that the reason for the unusual press reticence is that minors are involved. Hear any rumors about pedophilia being exposed?

Have to be careful what you say here if you’re a Brit, you can be sued very easily and this happened recently in a scandal along the lines of what you just mentioned.
Checking around, I find the people involved are middle-aged and not in the Cabinet. This is going to bring down the government? Sheesh, even the scandalousness of the scandals in the UK has degenerated to the pitiful.
I doubt it will bring them down, but there’s more to it apparently than just a fling.
I’m sure we’ll know by the end of the week.
It’s certainly going to be no Monica gate.
Thanks UKrepublican. Any rumor as to whom?
hehe
Pretty quiet scandal now, isn’t it?
It will come out eventually. Might be a few months, but it will come out. Without saying too much it is quite possibly because their are severe implications in relation to criminal proceedings that are already under way in another matter.
