Open Season on Republican Strategists and RINOs
www.clashdaily.com ^ | 5/30/13 | John Kirkwood

Posted on 06/01/2013 10:08:21 AM PDT by harpu

The most useless animal in the world is the “Republican Strategist.” Dennis Miller hung up on me once for daring to challenge the acuity of his “Republican Strategist” friend on his radio program. The strategist, Mike Murphy, was lamenting John McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin as a running mate and forcefully declaring that had McCain chosen the pro-abortion Tom Ridge, he would have rode a moderate wave to victory.

Hey, Dennis, know what your friend is doing now? Making gun-control commercials for Nanny Bloomberg. Yeah, that’s Republican.

Not known as “The Stupid Party” for lack of evidence, a “Republican Strategist” the other day on C-Span was asked the typical liberal loaded question in regard to President Obama’s recent scandals:

“Are you afraid that your colleagues are going to ‘over-reach’ like they did against Bill Clinton during his scandals?”

The “strategist” looking like a dog who was just confronted by the puddle on the carpet actually apologized for those nutty Republicans who half-assed the impeachment of the perjurer and serial philanderer/alleged rapist that was slick Willy –

“Yeah, we better be careful because Bill Clinton’s popularity today is certainly a lesson that we can all learn from.”

Oh, I get it. Let Obama slide on the death of four civil servants; gun running to Mexico, Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood; wiretapping journalists and stoking the IRS to scorch his enemies. And those are only the scandals we know about.

Here’s how anyone with a spine and a virile member would answer that question:

SNARKY REPORTER: “So, Mr. Kirkwood, are you worried at all that your Republican Colleagues will ‘over-reach’ on these so-called scandals, driving the Independents away and deteriorating the Republican Party’s already pitiful approval numbers?”

MR. KIRKWOOD: “You know, I’m really glad you asked that question and I’m glad you asked it like a eunuch whose family is being held hostage by Michele Obama.

Riddle me this, Satan’s Sock-Puppet: Do you think it might be a bit of an over-reach for this President or any President to wiretap reporters? No, don’t look down at your talking points from Media Matters; answer the question!

Don’t like that one, well how about this, do you think it may be a bit of an ‘over-reach’ to go to sleep after you were informed that an American Ambassador and his station was ‘broken arrow’ and then to, oh I don’t know, wake up the next morning and fly out to Vegas to slouch toward Gomorrah with Jay-Z and Beyoncé?

Do you think it’s a bit of an ‘over-reach’ to treat Tea Party and Religious groups like a piñata and the IRS like a Louisville Slugger?

Do you think it may be an ‘over-reach’ to run guns to Mexican drug lords as a campaign talking point to do away with the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution that you swore to uphold?

Do you think it may be a bit of an over-reach for a dip-thong like you who is supposed to be a guardian of the 1st Amendment to act the part of lapdog and not watchdog?”

SNARKY REPORTER: “Well, uh, my producer is telling me that we have to break for a commercial, so thank you for joining us …”

MR. KIRKWOOD: “Not so fast, Goober, this is C-SPAN, you don’t have any commercials. So like I was saying …”

C-SPAN: Cut to still screen showing upcoming schedule and return with snarky reporter and an empty chair. If Republican strategists aren’t enough to make you kvetch all over your keyboard, how about those RINOs? Have you had your fill of the Marco Rubio – Paul Ryan amnesty commercials in which they imply that amnesty is the most conservative idea the party has had since free enterprise? And if Edmund Burke, Russell Kirk, William F. Buckley and Ronald Reagan were here they too would be plugging for the Democrat voter drive that is “comprehensive immigration reform.” So Rubio’s amnesty campaign which is sponsored by Chuckie Schumer, La Raza and Big Liberal is actually really, really conservative. How did I miss that?

Maybe someone needs to remind Senator Rubio just how he got into office. It wasn’t by pushing amnesty, it was because the establishment candidate, Charlie Crist, was seen dry-humping the leg of Barack Obama and glad-handing his policies.

And speaking of a “Brokeback” love affair, has anyone sent Ann Coulter a sympathy card for losing her boyfriend to Barack Obama. I can’t turn on the television without seeing Chris Christie feeding cotton candy to the big O on the Jersey shore. “Big Government is the problem!”

Then out trots Bobby Jindal. He releases a statement the other day that makes the argument that the real problem with America and with the direction of the Obama administration is “Big Government.” That’s what Governor Jindal and the floposition Republicans want us to focus on.

Are you freaking kidding me? Hey Bobby, I don’t mind you trying to sound like Ronald Reagan but the only problem is that Barack Obama is not Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter was a colossal joke and a mess as a President but he wasn’t an Alinsky/Gramsci Marxist intent on derailing the last bastion of freedom on God’s green earth. We have had Big Government since FDR; this is a whole other monkey. And to know what it is and then purposely minimize it and suggest the choir bleat along with you is very suspicious.

Big government was a problem in the Carter era; our main problem is not “big” government but a corrupt Marxist takeover of all of our institutions. Big government/small government is a philosophical argument; a Marxist coup is a live or die struggle!

To make the argument about “Big Government” is to completely ignore the despicably corrupt and criminal behavior of the Obama regime. IRS targeting the presidents opposition, DOJ wiretapping the press; illegal gun running to Mexico and Syria and then covering up investigations when the plan goes sidewise and results in dead Americans is not the result of “Big” government. It is corruption, it is criminal and it is going to be the death knell of America unless a true opposition rises up that has the stones to call a tyrant, a tyrant!

I am so weary of the neutered poodles that “Big” Republican trots out as our leadership. It’s time for a double dose of real opposition and I’ve only seen it clearly demonstrated in two statesmen as of late:

And may God continue to bless Senator Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.

...he would have rode a moderate wave to victory...

...is it too much to ask that someone engaging in public discourse to employ proper verb tenses while doing so...it is quite improper to use the simple past tense while also employing an auxiliary such as ‘to have’-which requires the usage of the past participle...as in ‘he would have ridden a moderate wave to victory...’

...is that too much to ask...?

Yep. I was going through the channels the other night, and there’s Rove on Hannity’s show. For crying out loud, Prebius and Rove. I could stand them if they would learn from their mistakes, but I think they are too arrogant to do that.

The author needs to buy a clue if he thinks Runt Paul belongs in any group with Ted Cruz.

Runt Paul is a Liberaltarian just like his old man. He would welcome the illegals with open arms, a sack of dope, and a queer marriage license!

Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued,

The mother of all political myths. Free government handouts and freebies ALWAYS trumps political ideology.

The most useless animal in the world is the “Republican Strategist.”

That's because their only strategy is preemptive surrender and their only principle is to have no principles.
