What the Scandals Reveal: [Obama's childish worldview leads directly to the abuse of power]
National Review ^ | May 30, 2013 | Mario Loyola

In each of the three major scandals that have recently rocked the Obama administration, the hunt is on for smoking guns. Armed with subpoena power in the House of Representatives, the GOP is going after the administration — for its secret seizures of journalists’ phone records, the IRS persecution of conservative nonprofit groups, and the Benghazi fiasco — and it smells blood.

Alas, the hunt may well prove fruitless; it may emerge that no laws were broken. But even if no laws were broken, the scandals’ common theme is a casual abuse of government power.

The pattern of abuse is an almost inevitable result of how the administration sees itself and its opponents. During a recent press conference, Attorney General Eric Holder was asked whether, in terms of civil liberties, the Obama administration was comparable to that of George W. Bush. “No, we’re not,” he said. “This administration has put a real value on the rule of law and our values as Americans.”

This childish answer betrays the combination of self-delusion and paranoia that pervades the administration. Its members believe that their side is morally infallible and the opposition morally degenerate. Their supposed monopoly on democratic virtue gives them carte blanche, and they have used it.

Take the case of the secret phone-record seizures. Reporters are bitter about the fact that this president, to whom they have been so very kind, has already prosecuted more leaks than all other presidents combined, and appears now to be turning against them... This is apparently the first time that the Espionage Act has been invoked against a reporter merely for publishing something. Republicans and Democrats alike warn that journalism itself is being criminalized.

Folks, he does NOT have a “ childish world view.” He has the sophisticated worldview of a dedicated Marxist who is successfully implementing his agenda. People need to understand that all this is not an accidental consequence but a DESIGN.

and the New Black Panthers.

and many, many examples of voter fraud, all of it favoring (coincidentally) the democrats.

and the fake BC posted online.

I’m sure there are many others that I’ve forgotten. Some involve life and death. All, even the “small” scandals, are serious violations of liberty and freedom and our Constitutional rights. None of these are “just about sex” or some other thing that can be trivialized by the left. Wanting answers and prosecution is not petty or political, it is about justice and freedom. It is not just about justice and freedom for conservatives. It is about justice and freedom for everyone. From what I’ve read, Ambassador Stevens was a homosexual and not a conservative by any means. If a Republican administration were responsible for his death, the left would never shut up about his civil rights being violated and how the VRC at best didn’t care about him or at worst had him murdered.

I grew up in a strong union family. My first vote was for a Democrat for President. Then, I went out into the real world. I became a Conservative. Why do we assume that people like Obama and Hillary and Holder don’t also grow up? I think they do. They know socialism doesn’t work.....except to get elected. I realized that the Democrats were wrong, became a Conservative. I think that Obama and Hillary and Pelosi and Holder realized the Democrats were wrong, and became thieves. We think the Democrats leaders are naive and believe that socialism works. The Democrat leaders realize that Republicans ARE naive and frighten us with the socialist boogie man while they loot the public treasury.

Not everyone in the US advanced thanks to racism or colonialism.

But the rats don’t admit that - they form gross generalizations.

They are not individualists - they want to bring “the US” down a few pegs but can’t apply the concept of justice surgically to recognize individual acts, good and bad, regardless of one’s race or nationality............
