We got new a couple hours ago of my nephew being missing in a rafting accident near Eureka, MO. We cannot pray enough, need your help. They called off the search for the night due to bad weather. This cannot be happening. He's 25. Please help. Thank you, FRiends.
Lord Jesus, bring this young man Thy servant to safety.
St. Christopher, patron of sailors, pray for him.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Really sorry about the situation.
My prayers are with you.
The family members are leaving the area today and returning home. It must be the most agonizing decision to make. The fact that he has not been found provides some support for the idea he may have gotten out of the river. And with the violent storms that went through there the night he went missing, it seems like all normal theories for the stretch of river as to flows, etc., are virtually useless, or he could have been trapped by fast-moving debris.
Thank you all for your prayers and support. I am heartbroken for Jonner’s family, my kids (his cousins), and myself. Can barely go through the motions of normal days; I cannot imagine what they have been facing.
Please continue to pray that he is found to provide some resolution to all. Thank you.
My prayers are with you, and with all Jon’s family, NEMDF.
My thoughts and prayers remain with you. May all the family and friends find closure and peace.
Continuing prayers for your nephew. God bless.
Thank you. He is still missing. What an awful father’s day for his father and grandpa. We are so very sad.
I checked the Facebook page last night and saw there was no update.
“This weekend the family will return to Eureka,MO, with new fliers to distribute and post to remind those in the area that our Jon is still missing. If you would like to assist please let us know.”
Prayers for Jon and all of your family.
I can’t imagine the suffering you all are enduring.
Thank you, Jeff Winston.
Jon has been in my prayers. I am surprised that he is still missing. There’s always hope. I pray that he is somewhere safe.
Still praying that they find him soon. This has gone on for too long. Prayers for his family and friends and all who are helping with the search, too.
It has gone on too long. I pray they find him soon.
From the Facebook page:
“Thank you all so very much who helped search for our Jon this weekend. Thank you all who printed our new flyer and posted it in your area. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. Thank you all for sharing this page and making sure our Jon is not forgotten. Thank you all.”
It’s so sad to see that, according to the Facebook page, Jon is still missing. He and his family remain in my prayers.
Yes.
Another weekend gone. No news.
As far as I can tell, judging by the Facebook page.
I am sorry to report that there are no updates regarding the status of my newphew. There was a body found yesteray, however, in the Big River (near/west of where Jonner was lost), which is possibly (not confirmed) that of another man who was lost the same night, 5/31. Severe storms, including several tornadoes went through there that night. This does give us a bit of renewed hope.
