Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance]

One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v. Because he is too old an senile to even know what country he was actually in at this point. So rediculous. I bet he’s mad as hale at his handlers that tell him what to do 24/7 and wheel his incontinant a$$ around.

The saddest part about this is that this is probably about all that will be said about this. It will be ignored, even in churches this Sunday!

How are they different? I'd give McCain the benefit of the doubt and say he is just stupid. Jane Fonda was and is
evil.
Maybe the rebeld don't plan to kill or expel all the Christians--they could be doing this just to win Obama's support for their cause.

Maybe the rebeld don't plan to kill or expel all the Christians--they could be doing this just to win Obama's support for their cause. The rebels are affiliated with al-qaeda so the "Maybe the rebels don't plan to kill or expel the Christians.." is a pretty big maybe.

How is McCains Visit with these terrorist any different then Hanoi Jane's visit with the VC? Both are Traitors. At least Jane was protesting the current President who was a member of the political party she opposed. McCain seems to be supporting the current President who is a member of the party he is supposed to oppose. So McCain is much worse then Jane.

So McCain is much worse then Jane. Hate to think anyone is more of a traitor then Hanoi Jane, but I think you're right.

The outlook for Christians seems to be grim in most of the Middle East. The rebels in Syria may give them three choices—be killed, be expelled, or convert. This dates back to earlier than the first Arab-Israeli war—Christians of various types (Armenians, Nestorians, Greek Orthodox) were getting massacred or expelled at various times in the early decades of the last century.
