Last week, the executive board of Boy Scouts of America voted to allow openly gay kids into their programs, thus compromising their long standing set of Christian morals and values. When I heard about their vote, it saddened me to see them succumb to the pressures of a debauched society.
In my report last week about their compromise, I predicted that a number of church sponsored Boy Scout programs would be ended the same way it happened in Canada when they allowed the gays to go camping with them. Well, it seems the exodus has begun.
Southeast Christian Church first opened its doors in 1962 with 53 charter members in Louisville, KY. It has an average weekly attendance of 22,000 and a membership of over 30,000. It is the largest church in Kentucky and fifth largest in the United States.

Can you name names? I would like to drop them a line.
What a load of garbage.
There are no 7 year old queers
There are no 11 year old queers
there are no 13 year old queers
The quantity will be so small they will nt be the nightmaare you dreamed up.
There will be lots of good families that continue to support Scouting
One of the biggest, long-term advocates for inclusion of open homosexual scouts and adult leaders is the Jewish Committee on Scouting. The Reformed and Conservative branches of American Judaism both practice homosexual marriage.
My kids are out as of now. And I am not even religious. Buh bye scouts.
Having lived in Louisville for a number of years, I can attest to this.
Their second church was pretty large and right down the street from me (when Southeast Christian sold it, it turned into a black church, can't remember the denomination).
Now the church is a typical megachurch. Physically large with a hugh membership. Personally, I don't understand why anyone would want to attend a church where you're a number.
It's interesting that the article doesn't explain Southeast's original desire to exit the BSA:
When the issue of gays in the scouts first came up as a national issue, Southeast Christian Church began discussing the possibility of removing itself from the Boy Scouts so as not to be caught up in the debate.
All good families will abandon scouting when it becomes just another queer indoctrination club.
On a percentage basis, membership in troops from 1970 to 2010 decreased 56.3%. Total membership peaked in 1973 at 4,852,827.
I guess it’s the 17 year old queers parents need to worry about.
The queers should form their own organization - - the WE-BLOWs.
Yeah, I ain’t down with that.
I have several Jewish friends and they were extraordinary achievers in BSA and Eagle Scouts.
Not just a homo promoter, he also was in favor of pedaphelia - see his posts on the Kaitlyn Hunt threads.
If you knew anything about scouting you would know what you suggest will not happen
The numbers will be so trivial as to be inconsequential.
PC will not be in effect.
lol! funniest post of the day!
Some churches have programs like the Royal Rangers.
The ~294 local councils have to be self-funding also. They all have to develop their own streams of income. Three of the common streams they all use are (1) United Way, (2) Friends of Scouting (FoS), and (3) Trails End Popcorn sales.
Yes, the counter-revolution has to arise from the grass roots. BSA as we knew it, looks to be finished, but some things may take a wild turn before 1/01/2014. Besides looking at other church-sponsored youth organizations, keep checking in at OnMyHonor.net. That group seems to be the tip of the spear leading the Exodus.
“Living in the rural area of South Jersey 4-H is pretty popular.”
Bad news for rural South Jersey. Apparently the 4-H Clubs of America and National Little League dopted a sexual orientation nondiscrimination policy in 2010.

Following the moral code or saying.. okay, I think it’s alight if a young boy wants to have some type of behavior with another boy (that involves a sexual aspect) Can't people see why many are concerned.
hehe
4-H is controlled by state universities. They’ve been around the bend for a long time.
That vote was even dumber than “New Coke”.
Note to BSA:
There’s probably still time to wake up and reverse your STUPID decision.
