Obama tyranny: See, we told you so (Joseph Farah offers response to judgment falling on America)
WND ^ | May 28, 2013 | Joseph Farah

It gives me little comfort to say, “See, I told you so.”

Starting in 2008, there were many voices warning what an administration headed by a radical, Chicago-style gangster like Barack Obama would mean for America. But none of those voices were as relentless and prolific as WND.

We exposed his background.

We exposed his associations.

We exposed his policy positions as a “community organizer,” an Illinois state senator and during his brief career as a U.S. senator.

We exposed the lies in his books.

We exposed the still-unanswered questions and cover-up of his eligibility problems.

We exposed his Marxist connections, appointments and leanings in “The Manchurian President.”

And we continued by exposing what he would do in a second term if he got the chance in “Fool Me Twice,” a book, by the way, as relevant today as the day it was published in 2012.

We hoped for the best, but, at the end of the day, “the low-information voters” prevailed.

Am I surprised Obama is now simultaneously caught up in three of the biggest political scandals in American history?

No.

I’m surprised it took this long.

It’s in Barack Obama’s nature and character to do “whatever is necessary” to prevail over his enemies. And his enemies include the Constitution of the United States.

He needs to be brought to justice for his abuse of the First Amendment in spying on news agencies.

He needs to be brought to justice for using the Internal Revenue Service as an attack dog against his political foes.

He needs to be brought to justice for abandoning Americans to be mutilated and killed in Benghazi.

He needs to be brought to justice for the forgotten scandal of “Fast and Furious,” in which he and his Justice Department ran guns to the drug cartels

". . . “the low-information voters” . . . .

Isn't it time to replace that cliché with a truly descriptive phrase more suited to the serious consequences to liberty resulting from what more aptly might be described as "Constitutionally-unknowledgeable voters"?

Such a description would, of necessity, rule out voters who are so committed to the opposing ideology that, with knowledge, they are deliberately destroying the foundations of liberty enshrined in the Constitution's "People-over-government" form in favor of their tyrannical and counterfeit "government-over-people" notion.

Between "Constitutionally-unknowledgeable" citizens and the hard core "People-over-government" ideologues there were enough votes in 2012 to put this Administration in place, but information can circulate quickly in the new media, and the first group can be exponentially increased through the use of technology and devotion to liberty by those already knowledgeable of their Creator-endowed rights.

Therein may lie the cause for current use of abusive and coercive exercise of power by the committed ideologues who believed they could squash dissent through intimidation and threats of oversize government agencies.

Jefferson, in his First Inaugural laid out the principles of the Constitution which would "guide" his Administration, concluding with:

"These principles form the bright constellation which has gone before us and guided our steps through an age of revolution and reformation. The wisdom of our sages and the blood of our heroes have been devoted to their attainment. They should be the creed of our political faith, the text of civic instruction, the touchstone by which to try the services of those we trust; and should we wander from them in moments of error or of alarm, let us hasten to retrace our steps and to regain the road which alone leads to peace, liberty, and safety." - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural

With reference to the "government-over-People" idea, download the essay entitled "The Unique Idea" from a volume entitled, "Our Ageless Constitution."

I say let him, because he’s right, as many others were. Stanley Kurtz in National Review this morning says pretty much the same thing, for pretty much the same reason:

Over at Hot Air, Ed Morrissey suggested that, “…bullying people through the Department of Justice as a candidate will cause reasonable people to wonder what will happen if Obama gets elected.”

Powerline’s John Hinderaker’s remarks seem pertinent today: “If Obama is elected President, will he appoint an Attorney General who will carry out politically-motivated prosecutions like the one he is now demanding?

Ed Morrissey suggested that, for their own sake, national media ought to stop ignoring Obama’s assaults on the press: “Maybe other journalists should take heed. If Obama becomes president and they commit the crime of Journalism in the First Degree, how will these same people react with the full weight of the federal government behind them? If they stoop to character assassination now, what will they do when they have much more powerful tools at their disposal?”

The national media can’t help themselves. They are addicted to the leftist bias just as much as a crack head is addicted to his next fix. Even when they appear to be pointing out a few of the “o’s” character flaws they’re positions in a manner to make it go away.

Thank you for your unsolicited and unsubstantiated opinion.
Speaking of holding an awfully high opinion of yourself...

...what's a Mr. Lucky?

When the station refused to cancel my appearance, it was deluged with calls from Obama supporters acting on instructions from his campaign. They demanded that I be kept off the air.
A few weeks later, on September 15, a flood of callers, again egged on by the Obama campaign, demanded that David Freddoso, then my colleague at National Review, be barred from discussing his just-published biography of Obama on the Rosenberg show.

It would be educational to determine whether these progressive pressure groups working for the Obama campaign were 501(C3) or 501(C4)organizations, and if any were investigated by the Justice Department, the IRS, and whether they got dozens of pages of illegal questions in the original applications or renewal of their tax status.

Illegalities Predicted

Thank you for that great link!
It's amazing how few made note, at the time, of the ugly criminal, corrupt cloud over the horizon.
