The search warrant filed to investigate the Fox News reporter James Rosen proved as many had suspected: President Obama wants to make it a crime for a reporter to talk to a leaker. It is a further example of how President Obama will surely pass President Richard Nixon as the worst president ever on issues of national security and press freedom.
The government's subpoena of The Associated Press's phone records was bad enough. But the disclosure of the search warrant in the Rosen case shows President Obama has delved into territory never before reached by previous presidents.
The Justice Department obtained Rosens e-mail by using a search warrant in which it alleged that Rosen was a co-conspirator with a government adviser named Stephen Kim.

I wish Nixon was not a Republican. He has embarrassed the party for generations. Every time we have some sort of scandal, he is brought up. He clearly was a democrat since he was a dishonest jerky crook. Anyway we can disown him from the Republican Party. Easily the worst Republican President in American History.

Nixon was a Christian, a veteran, an anti-communist, a heterosexual, and a patriot. He spent eight years observing a great administrator. Nobody died at the Watergate.
The Press has ruined itself.
They do not report news any longer, they concentrate on making it , and they are left wing cheerleaders.
Scumbags... obama will eat your children and crush your ink... like I said... press are ALL scumbags!

Dear NYT, we do not have a free press. We have a press that has placed itself in voluntary servitude to the Democrat Party.
A lion hunting the plains of Africa is free, the family dog is not.
The only real autonomy that the press demonstrates is when it gets into an argument with the DNC concerning what strategy best forwards socialism.

Shameless.
Indeed. I'd be interested in specifics of what they think Nixon did to the press.
The point is that NYT kept Obama’s name out of the headline.
