According to an interview with the Daily Beast, Attorney General Eric Holder felt a sense of "remorse" when the Washington Post ran a story about "how agents had tracked Rosens movements in and out of the State Department, perused his private emails, and traced the timing of his calls to the State Department security adviser suspected of leaking to him."
Aides reportedly told the publication that Holder felt "a creeping sense of personal remorse" upon reading the affidavit obtained by the WaPo describing Rosen as "at the very least ... an aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator." I guess Holder didn't feel a little uncomfortable when he actually signed the search warrant to obtain the communications of a journalist.
Aides explained Holder's behavior:

Eric Holder is going to get to the bottom of why Eric Holder did this. To prove how serious Eric is about it, he is going to appoint one of his very own employees to investigate why Eric Holder decided to label a reporter as a spy and have him placed under surveillance.
Eric feels bad about what Eric Holder did.
If I robbed a bank, stole a car, shot someone and got caught,I would feel a sense of remorse as well, along with a fear of meeting bubba in the big house
I wish EH would feel the the wood of my bat upside his knotty head . .
The lies are smashing into one another like a couple of Amtrak trains.
I’m glad to hear that. Now, let’s see him feel remorse while behind bars.
He needs to feel more
I think you are right.
We must be close to the target, now that a democrat is playing the emotion card. It’s the same, tired routine.
And yes, Holder is the key. Holder is the muscle end of Obama’s Chicago-style mob rule.
His remorse is the kind of remorse a fisherman feels for his catch.
I see no evidence that it’s possible for Holder to feel remorse for anything.
Personal remorse = “Damn, I got caught.”
Ah yes, the BBA
blinking barf alert.-
good idea!
The Washington Post showed they still ‘have it’ and it's a paper to be reckoned with... thank God. On a slightly different note - those folk who don't ‘have it’ - has NBC objected yet?
Hello.. Holder lied under oath and he’s the top law enforcement official over ALL of us out here in America. Lying, just sending him home, come on, let’s get serious, Congress! Out here in America land, if we do something wrong, we have the locals, we have the state and the feds coming down on us along with the fed’s media after us while innocent people pay dearly to defend themselves and saving their business etc.. He lies and he says he feels remorse. Okay.
Well, “remorse” makes egregious violations of civil rights okay.
Move along.....
What complete, utter BS. Where’s my shovel?
If Holder felt remorse, he should do what Judas did after betraying Jesus to his enemies — find a good stout rope and a sturdy tree branch.
Don’t worry, Eric, it’s a small thing to get choked up about.
The worst that can happen to Holder is that he might be forced to resign. If there is any danger of him going to prison, he’ll get a pardon from Obama.
I can dream, eh?
