The Frenchies are protesting - and we aren't?

Haven’t been following this.....Why are the French protesting so much? Can’t be religious objection - maybe snobbery (it is, after all called the “English vice”). Whatever the reason, it’s sort of awkward to have the French doing something that has been beat out of us.

One of the few times I would say “wish I were there”.

When 1 + 1 = 3 I’ll support gay marriage. There is an inescapable, natural order to the universe whether liberals want to believe it or not. Scientific principles, similar to those defining human behavior and morality, simply do not cease to exist due to personal opinion or political agenda. Just ask Galileo, Newton, Darwin or Einstein. My opposition to same sex marriage needs no religious basis, although marriage is clearly a religious institution based on a bond between a man and a woman consecrated under God. If progressives want to continue to live on an alternative plane of reality, convince themselves the world really is flat and that a society without boundaries or values will not slide into the abyss of degradation, I’m sure Obamacare will gladly provide, at our cost, those psychotropic prescriptions they so desperately need. Otherwise, gay couples should be thankful civil unions are even an option. That, regardless of their ignorant opposition, is the extent of my tolerance!

Thousands. OK

Looks like hundreds of thousands, millions, maybe.

The French refuse to speak any other language than their own, in France. That’s true.

Looking at how we cave and kow tow to the Spanish here will tell you of course they’re better at saying no.

In a word, yes, the French are more courageous than we are.

They are not more courageous than our WWII soldiers were, but they know, and we may as well admit, neither are we.

Amazing that so many in France have the courage to do this. Don’t forget their socialized lifestyle allows them the time to do this. Here in the US we are concerned with earning a living. Though its hard to know if that were not a factor, would we show the same courage?

Three rallies are headed by the anti-same-sex-marriage movement, while the fourth is led by the traditionalist Catholic lobby group, Civitas. By late afternoon, the protesters were beginning to fill the Invalides esplanade just across the Seine River from the Champs Elysees.

Most, if not all, people know that same sex marriage is nothing more than a transient popular culture. Natural law rules, even if distorted for a short time by heretics.

pathetic and sad and cowardly for our side to not want to raise these mainstream traditional issues which most support in this country.

Talk radio, hell even some freepers can’t or won’t mention this issue because they’re either cowards, agree with the socialists and their agenda or the usual crap of “well I know a couple of homosexuals and they are nice”

Speak up, call your reps, tell your friends, family and tell them about the military and how rapes on men and women are now at record levels since don’t ask has gone, how the boy scouts were pressured and caved to this agenda and how CA and other places are teaching it in the schools

God bless France. String that treasonous government up on Champs Elysee, and dance.

It is possible to destroy a civilization with a stroke of a pen. The French know that, for they have experienced it many times in their history since 1789 and even before. They also know from experience that it takes centuries of efforts to rebuild civilization.

After the first event on January 13, 2013 (one million "white of the white" participants, including many women and children), the March 24 brought together more participants yet. They even ended up occupying a portion of the Champs-Elysees despite the roadblocks set by the National Police and their tear gas.

One would be blind not to see the reality in this mobilization: a mass revolt against the destruction of the family, against the last pillar of our European civilization being shaken. Every child has the right to know where he comes from, who is his father and who is his mother. It is worth remembering that 33 centuries ago, the Trojan War was caused to enforce the union of Achaean king Menelaus and his wife Helen, kidnapped by a Trojan prince. All the kings of the Achaean federation had sworn to protect Helen's marriage to Menelaus. And they united to bring Helen's home. And war was concluded with the destruction of Troy. It became the narrative of the Iliad , the poem at the foundation of our civilization.

The revolt of the mothers
