Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) said Friday that the Gang of Eight immigration bill doesnt have enough votes to pass the Senate.
The bill won approval from the Senate Judiciary Committee in a 13-5 vote, but Menendez said it lacks the 60 votes necessary to clear the Senate despite the bill's four Republican co-sponsors.
We dont currently have 60 votes identified in the Senate, Menendez said in an interview with Univision. We need to add more votes on the floor. That means that the community in your state, in every state, should be contacting your states two U.S. Senators saying that they want comprehensive immigration reform, that they are going to judge their political future based on this vote.

Boehner has said the Senate bill is DOA in the House, which is working on its own bill. The real question is why the urgency on an immigration bill that can only help the Dems and Obama no matter whether it passes or not.

“They always say this right before they pass something.”
And sometimes they even actually have the vote and lose, but then slam it through a short time later.

They are reading leftist articles that say the GOP needs amnesty more then the Dems do?

Both current NJ Senators would vote for the bill. If your scenario happened and Cristie appointed new Dems to replace the current ones, that wouldnt change any votes. Exactly why Obie is kissing Crispy's behind, to make sure it does happen that way....

About those commercials, I scream at the radio “What are you going to do to the illegals if they DON’T go through all your hoops? Deport them?”

“The traitors in Washington are determined to replace American voters with Mexicans.”
Absolutely, just as the traitors in the corner offices have replaced American workers with Latinos and Asians. It is bizarre to watch this unfold.

“Summing up, adding together RINO committee votes plus all 55 senate Dems will get 60, but politics doesnt necessarily add up that way.”
Agree...and good examples. But I haven’t yet seen the articles on wavering Dems, as I did with gun control. I think they’ll be more in line, because if they can get Amnesty through, they won’t even have to bother to run campaigns anymore to get re-elected, and they must know that.

I usually listen to Rush on RushLimbaugh.com and there is no such commercials.
When I drive, I plug my Android phone into my car stereo, and listen to IHeartRadio on a variety of conservative stations around the country that broadcast Rush. Every station has DIFFERENT commercials.
I can’t speak for Hannity, as I do not listen to him.
Still, Rush does NOT pick all the commercials being broadcast, just the ones that actually sponsor his show (and he does voice endorsements for). The Stations themselves pick the commercials. I suspect Rubio’s PAC is sending big money to broadcast these. Still, it is NOT Rush doing so.

The selling out of an entire nation to a foreign entity. Amazing. Can’t say I recall wanting to raise a white flag.

I almost vomited watching Hannity last night with the open borders hack Rubio on spreading his lies.
Hannity is totally in the tank with this the useless tool.

The tragic part is they seem to be yoked to the idea that if "we ere just 49% pro-amnesty we will get the Latino vote!"
Nonsense! Reagan and Bush made it clear that illegals threaten the legal immigrants and steal from the physically and MAKE legal Latinos scapegoats.
As always, failure to stand on principles loses elections.
The GOP and the RNC are dumber than dirt.
You are correct, but the country is lost because of a nanny Government that has been allowed to grow and has been fostered by both parties............Both parties are in a race to the bottom to see which one can offer the most goodies for the sheeple. There is no way the GOP can win another national election offering an alternative of hard work and old fashioned principles of self reliance that this country was founded on, when the RAT party is known as the bearer of goodies to all special classes.
John Adams Our Constitution Was Made Only For A Moral And Religious People
As the delegates left the building, a Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, Well, Doctor, what have we got?
With no hesitation, Franklin replied, A republic, if you can keep it. Not a democracy, not a democratic republic. But a republic, if you can keep it.

Representatives no longer represent anyone but themselves
Why are corrupt government politicians allowed to vote on this country killing bill, but the American people have no say in it?
Is there a single American left who still trusts these government ruling class insiders?

Absolutely.....they want to change our Jeffersonian culture, our predominant race, and take our guns so we have no more political power.

The idea that [Rubio] is a fool or naive is ridiculous. He has political ambitions and believes that being an amnesty supporter in FL will advance his political career. And, in that respect, he is dead wrong, is he not?
Ergo, Rubio is, indeed, an opportunistic fool...and fatally naive.
