The taxi magnate who said he was subjected to a profanity-laced rant by Mayor Bloomberg has filed a federal lawsuit charging the mayor with threatening him and siccing TLC inspectors on his fleet in retaliation for his opposition to the “Taxi of Tomorrow” plan.

“It’s deeply disappointing and terribly disturbing that the mayor will use his powers to try to beat people who disagree with him into oblivion,” said Steve Mintz, the lawyer representing [Taxi Club Management CEO Gene] Freidman.

100% Fact: Anytime to give another person power over you, you are placing yourself at risk for abuse.
Nobody has ever successively refuted Lord Acton’s words: “Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely”.
Because our government indoctrination centers in K-12 have dumb downed the brilliance of the Founders we have generations who do not realize how corrupt all our government institutions are and why the Founders insisted on a very small government with severe constraints placed on it by the Constitution.
