Floridians have negative feelings about undocumented immigrants, but an overwhelming majority favor policy that would allow such immigrants a path to U.S. citizenship, a new University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences survey suggests...
Seventy-three percent of survey respondents said they believe undocumented immigrants are a burden on the economy more than an asset, and 58 percent of respondents agreed with the statement undocumented immigrants reduce the number of good jobs for Americans.
...85 percent said the government should either allow undocumented immigrants to remain in the U.S. and eventually become citizens or require them to leave and return and become citizens only if they meet specific requirements.

Notice that this 85% is NOT broken down....so I went to the report's details...
51% of the people surveyed say ILLEGAL ALIENS SHOULD BE FORCED TO LEAVE AND THEN THEY CAN APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP!!
Only 34% believe illegal aliens should be able to stay in the nation while getting amnesty.
To put it another way:
86% of Floridians think illegal aliens should be forced to leave the country.
Of course, the University of Florida liberals don't want to PUT that in their press release....
Here is the pie chart from the report I am referring to:
And here is the entire report:

Florida news.
Confused Floridians? Really?
I noticed Marco Rubio has lowered his profile promoting the Gang of 8 bill while an apparently clueless Paul Ryan is raising his.
Marco would be wise to back out of this deal...even wiser to take a public stand against it...he would have a lot of credit if he said, “I gave it a good shot, and then the liberals in both parties put bad elements in it...”
We already have a path to citizenship, the illegals choose to ignore it...
Here is a question they won’t ask:
“Do you support an increase in your federal income taxes to pay for government handouts to illegals who will be granted amnesty?”
Yeah, extremely conflicted...
Do I want a job or don’t I?
Should we put U. S. Citizens or other nation’s citizens to work here?
Should we want foreign national predators up here, or do we want our children and spouses to be safe?
Gosh, I’m sure feeling conflicted. Aren’t you?
“The survey of 507 Floridians found” No matter what your personal preferences are this percent of population surveyed doesn’t mean squat.
I agree that there is conflict in the American mind over the illegal alien. The conflict arises due to the conflict between the Democratic prejudice of absolute equality and reality.
Yeah, I can see the confliction.
Confliction between the truth and how to spin it.
