'THE soldier butchered in broad daylight by Muslim fanatics yesterday has been named by sources as (Drummer) Lee Rigby.
Lee, 25, is a dad to a young son called Jack and served with 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. He is believed to have served in Afghanistan.
And sources say he is separated from his wife.
His family were told the tragic news in the early hours last night.
Met police officials are refusing to confirm the name until an autopsy has been completed - planned for this afternoon.'

Pray for Little Jack.
Rest in Peace. may God comfort those close to him.
Amen.
Your words brought tears to my eyes.
This is heartbreaking. God rest his soul.
Why on earth would they need an autopsy? How could they even do one, considering the way the poor man was butchered.
What a horrible, unbelievable way to die. Poor, poor man, and his family.
Completely innocent.
My heart breaks.
Prayers for his soul and for his little son, Jack.
I noticed that the Brits are not calling this workplace violence. That poor soldier died on the battlefield.
The victim's name was announced by the Ministry of Defence pending formal police identification.
"An extremely popular and witty soldier, Drummer Rigby was a larger than life personality within the Corps of Drums and was well known, liked and respected across the Second Fusiliers," the MoD statement said.
Commanding officer Lt Col Jim Taylor said of Drummer Rigby: "An experienced and talented side drummer and machine gunner, he was a true warrior and served with distinction in Afghanistan, Germany and Cyprus."
Capt Alan Williamson said: "Drummer Rigby or 'Riggers' as he was known within the platoon was a cheeky and humorous man, always there with a joke to brighten the mood."
See what happens when they import 3rd world radical muzzie drecks into the nation in the name of multi-cultural diversity? Take a back seat Rubio and stop being played by the sneaky DemRats.
Rest in peace Mr. Lee Rigby. Prayers to you and your son.
Since guns are almost impossible to get in Britain, this may actually all be a giant prank because we ALL KNOW that banning guns will end violent crime; that bans work, and that once something is illegal, the problem goes away. After all, it’s worked so well with murder, cocaine and drunk driving.
That having been said, the following new laws are proposed:
1) background checks for anyone buying a meat cleaver
2) a three day waiting period of all meat cleaver purchases
3) no one under age 21 can buy a meat cleaver
4) anyone seeking to possess a meat cleaver must go through mandatory butcher training including a filet competency test
5) ALL MEAT CLEAVERS CAPABLE OF CUTTING MORE THAN 7 OUNCES OF MEAT ARE BANNED
6) no meat cleavers may be concealed on your person
7) schools are hereby declared no meat cleaver zones
8) anyone possessing more than five meat cleavers wil be considered a terrorist by the government
9) Nancy Pelosi and harry Reid now consider meat cleavers “America’s number one public health threat”
Everyone for hundreds of miles around should attend his funeral to show unilateral support and no fear of these rat bastards from hell!
Thanks so much.
I’m already on this very sad thread.
RIP Drummer Rigby. You join a long line of those murdered by Islam.
That was my first thought, but I'm sure it a legal process that has to be conducted to provide official medical information when any trials take place. I was surprised to read this morning that the two murderers were shot by police. Unfortunately they're both still alive.
I am curious as to the reaction over there. are Brits finally waking up, or are they truly turning into the surrender monkeys of Europe, replacing the French, who long answered to that appellation?
I think we are finally waking up.
