Voter ID didn’t reduce turnout, but the IRS may have.

By John Fund

The 2012 election season was filled with angry cries of “voter suppression,” almost all of them regarding attempts by states to require voter ID and otherwise improve ballot integrity. Bill Clinton warned that “there has never been — in my lifetime, since we got rid of the poll tax and all the other Jim Crow burdens on voting — the determined effort to limit the franchise that we see today.” Democratic-party chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said “photo-ID laws, we think, are very similar to a poll tax.”

Residual disgust towards Juan (and the GOPe) and discrimination against Mormonism caused more turnout depression than anything else.

But it now turns out there may have suppression of the vote after all. “It looks like a lot of tea-party groups were less active or never got off the ground because of the IRS actions,”

Good to see this meme getting more traction. It is certainly true that the money flow to the GOP was curtailed, maybe even Big Time. Who benefited from that? Obama. Who didn't benefit? Romney, GOP Senate candidates andd GOP House candidates.

The warning from Bill Clinton is priceless. Neither he nor his wife would know the truth if it was right in front of them. He will say anything to try to make his liberal point

Obama and the crooks in his Chicago Mafia stole the last election. It’s about time someone says this out loud. He is an illegitimate president, in office because of election fraud, just as JFK was.

But we have to make every effort to find out before the American people start losing confidence in the integrity of our elections

A little too late for that, as many have already lost confidence in the integrity of our elections.

"The Real Voter Suppression of 2012"

This is what Fox, Rush and every other conservative outlet has to trumpet, and trumpet it loudly. This was and is "VOTER SUPPRESSION." And it is done by Democrats.
