I'm not a lawyer, but the minute she started pleading her innocence, I was yelling at the television, "That's not pleading the fifth! That's testifying! She can't plead the fifth now!"
Anybody with a television-watching, psuedo law degree knows that.
The Repubs need to go for the throat and if she continues to avoid testifying, lock her flabby hinder in jail. Make a BIG example of her.
Maybe the FBI will go interview her. She’ll “flip out” and they’ll have to shoot her.

Only if they then quickly plant a knife on her. They can then say “Hey, didn’t you listen to Rush Limbaugh? He pegged her for being perpetually angry—looks like he was right. Very strange how she attacked us with that knife, we had to shoot her 37 times once she flipped and attacked.

In my travels around the ‘net today I read somewhere that if she read a statement defending herself that the 5th was null. It was something about she got to officially tell her version without allowing questions and you can’t do that. That allows your version to stand unopposed and that’s not what the 5th is about.
Agreed. The sooner the better. Facing a lengthy sentence might loosen her tongue a bit as well.
