Not necessarily. But once you get elected the first time, you can tap into all the special interests that you help out, and they are more than happy to donate to keep you in office.
Remember Weenie served 7 terms in congress, never got less than 59% of the vote, and didn't have to spend much on getting re-elected. Combine that with the "market crushing" stock market returns typically scored by Congress members, and you have some real dough.

What I sensed from the commercial was that he wants everyone to forget about the photos of his willie.
He always reminds me of little birds with their mouths open waiting for mother bird to feed it...he’s a disgusting piece of crap imo...looks like a dang bird....and needs to be a jailbird for all his antics.
He was toppled from his throne and now wants it back....and the people are just stupid enough to give it to him.

They get to use it to put pals on the payroll for the campaign (easy to set up no-show jobs). I believe the “war chest” has to be used within a certain period of time or he forfeits it; it can be used for the same BS. Some people run for office for the temporary exposure, which then lets them sell books and such; others have to simply burn up the war chest. I don’t see this freak as having any chance, an NYC-area radio host was referring to him as “Anthony Pen!s”.
