Here in Washington state, that is not correct.

Here, and I assume in many other states, state employees administer Food Stamps.

States have considerable latitude to interpret eligibility rules.

For instance, in Washington state no one is required to show proof of legal residence in the USA to get Food Stamps.

Inhofe has a great idea....but you know the liberal states politicians just lost a pantload knowing they will get an influx of the lazy coming from states with low SNAP payments
