Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) backed down from a previous promise his spokeswoman made to Breitbart News that he would consider voting in favor of amendments to the Senate's immigration bill that would close a loophole allowing illegal immigrants immediate access to state and local welfare.

I think I would rather face a known enemy than have one at my back. One I thought was my friend.
I voted for Flake in November and now less than 6 months in office he is more McCain than Kyle.
If I had known then what I know now, I would have voted for the Democrat.
Rubio will NEVER get any conservative support after this, he may as well change parties. He is a traitor to conservatives and the Tea Party that elected him. He is scum and he can NEVER redeem himself ever.

A big reason the dims are doing amnesty now is to demoralize the GOP base. Zuckerburg is a huge kenyan butt licker and is paying for those Rubio radio ads. It’s psywar and these dipstick beltway GOP types are too vain to figure it out.
The bill is bad enough on it’s merits. But even worse is Rubio’s willful misrepresentations of what is in it speaks greatly to his integrity or lack there of. He needs to pay for this assault on the rights of American citizens.
Its a win-win for Dems.

The Rubio commercial says illegals will come out of the shadows, pay a fine, and give up government benefits for a certain number of years...

This guy and McCain are just truly bizarre. Sheriff Joe and Governor Brewer are doing everything they can to round up the illegals and keep them out. Flake and McCain are doing everything they can to bring them in and bankrupt their state.
If I were Sheriff Joe I would arrest both of them the minute they stepped off the airplane, put them in pink coveralls and send them off to one of his compounds. Charge them with lying about their true identity by attempting to disguise themselves as Conservatives.
If Rubio had just worked on the bill and then withrawn his support of a bad bill he may have been redeemable in time. However, his in your face misrepresentations PR campaign seals my opinion of him as a carpetbagging dirtbag. There is nothing to salvage at this point.
I agree. But, I'm beginning to think it doesn't matter...there must be some BIG$$$ being offered to these traitors. Enough to make the wishes of their constituents and countrymen irrelevant.

Its one thing to be misguided and take a position I disagree with, but he was outright lying to sell this Democrat bill to us.
They can lie to Dems all they want but lying to me writes me off them.
The RINOs plan is to slip this lib crap to Obama under the cover of yelling Benghazi and IRS to keep GOP/conservative voters distracted. Grahamnesty and McCain have made careers of this scam.
Obama will still get all the credit after he signs it(Hispanics) , not the GOP, but until its passed he will make sure he looks uninvolved, and Schumer and Durbin will give the RINOs meaningless symbolic victories like on the Dem LBGT amendment to the amnesty bill today.
Schumer called it a ‘pass’ to THEIR GOP allies.
