A right-wing historian shot himself dead in front of hundreds of tourists at the altar of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris today, apparently in protest at France's legalisation of gay marriage. Dominique Venner, who had recently been campaigning against gay marriage in France, is said to have calmly walked past the crowds milling around the 850-year-old Cathedral, one of the most popular tourist sites in the world, before taking out a Herstal automatic pistol. The 78-year-old put the gun in his mouth and fired before collapsing on to the altar, according to French media reports.

This man just did so more literally.
I don’t even like the way the press calls these events “protests” against some issue. You have a sick, disturbed person who killed himself for internal reasons that have little, if anything, to do with gay marriage. Gay marriage may have prompted it but this was not some rational person being so upset about gay marriage that he killed himself.
There are surely better ways to protest the societal corruption of values, reason & integrity, than punishing oneself.
People in the throes of despair, though, are often not really in their "right mind."

So, what exactly is a right wing historian??? a fascist, like many of the progressives in the Obama administration? a Goldwater Republican? a segregationist? What was it that caused the historian to be labeled, right wing? What exactly is it about opposing Gay Marriage that is considered right wing?
Standing up for freedom speech, religion and thought? Is that the new description of right wing?
Who gets his stuff if they divorce?

Let us pray for the repose of his soul, may the Lord have mercy on all tempted by despair. And may the Lord heal the frightened hearts of the many who witnessed this ultimate selfish act.
Hardly a route I would take, but I can’t deny the symbolism. If anything reflects the suicidal degeneration of Western Civilization, it’s this fag marriage insanity. If America decides to fully embrace this evil, I’ll be cheering for the country to burn to the ground.
