In progress. As I am writing this, they are just doing opening remarks.
Immigration Mark Up to occur after this hearing
Yes, nobody knows anything! Amazing! They need to question some lower level IRS employees - they would probably know much more about who told them to do the Targeting.
I was hoping either the House or Senate would mention and/or question the criteria established by Homeland Security the disposition of TEA partiers fitting the example of domestic terrorists. Given that thought, it would behoove the Exempt office to closely discern these applications to make sure they were not domestic terrorists, thus entitling them to ask extensively about donors, etc. It is not so much just a bunch of losers in the IRS intimidating citizens, but more the systemic establishment of conservatives are dangerous for America.
bfl
Portman actually asked direct questions.
Portman - R Ohio
Refers to letter written regarding targeting. Miller responds I think I read it.
Recall > 7 (Seven) SENATORS wrote to IRS for them to scrutiny regarding 501 C4
Portman - Mr. Miller, you didn’t bother to hear back from them to respond to our letter.
Toomey and Portman finally start asking the right questions.
Miller covers for Sarah H. Ingram
Toomey: Sitting here today, we still don’t know WHO made the decision to make it political!
(We do, Obama).
Recess = 10-15 minutes.
Yep. Skin color's a match.
Yes! And I think it was Toomey who requested that they actually bring in someone(s) who can actually answer the question of WHO?
Yes Move on is a 501 C4
Seams like the question of WHO gave the order plagues both the IRS and Benghazi scandals. I wonder just who is connected to both... I wonder who? Hmmmm ... Could it be the Church Lady?
I don’t think the IG is completely in cover-up mode. I think the Obama Administration may actually be shocked that a black IG is not going along completely with their narrative.
Senator Carper (D-De) is criticizing the IRS commissioners for those in charge for not taking responsibility for what went wrong under their administration. Says they are responsible and they are not saying that.
Shulman nominated by President Bush in Dec. 2007.
What difference does it make?
The Dems just have to bring Bush into it. It is in their DNA!
Yep, and it’s “not” exclusively, for social welfare.
NAACP is very political.
Baucus does not ask about MoveOn.org while setting his target on conservative groups!
