Well I got it via Drudge site. I was wondering myself because I am still learning about this tornado myself.

Thanks. I’ve been trying to find out how many adults were in that school. So I take it that the teacher and kids were killed?

The thread that I had read it from (don’t remember which one, there was so much happening at the time) didn’t really say either way... I got the impression that the teacher was probably killed, but had no idea about the kids.... but, if she was, then, more than likely .. well.... :/

I was very surprised to see that the school did not have a designated storm shelter. Most schools that I am familiar with would be much safer than being in a residence.

It is reasonable to assume the kids were basically laying on the ground. A small amount of water is all it would take to drown.

In the US, children are expendable up until the time of a wanted and intended birth, after which the are immeasurably more important and valuable than any adult and, especially, any older adult. The news is reported accordingly.
