Search, Rescue & Recovery operations continue. 91 confirmed dead as of 6:15am, EST.
More severe storms are approaching the area, at this minute, according to TV station's weather dept.
The films of the EF-5(?) from yesterday are amazing, scary and gut-wrenching. TV crews have been up all night with rescue workers and first responders.
Thank-you.
Salvation Army & Red Cross, plus others providing shelter, food, water to tens-of-thousands displaced by yesterday's twister.
30 sq miles of damage, 2¼-mile wide debris ball. ½-wide funnel. Ground scrubbed clean in many areas. Debris from Moore deposited/coming down in Arkansas and Missouri.
I have seen enough of it on FOX.
It is all so sad...I do not want to see anymore.
N Texas Red Cross is worn out.
They were still working the tragedy in West Tx, then 16 tornadoes in N Texas.
Now this.
Today is shaping up for more of the same.
Praying for those that have lost Children and other loved ones.... Its gonna be a long hard day for those in OK...
If they've been going at it all night, S/R crews must be about whooped by now.
Another 40 victims found overnight :-((
And the weather map on News9 is showing a whole lot of magenta again this morning.
Best wishes, Oklahoma

Nor do I. FR is better used focusing on the disasters emanating from Washington.
We should know what we are looking at better by noon.
Yep.
Moore is almost no more..
Has anyone else lost all the content on the ‘Comments’ tab ?
nevermind !
The latest official read is that it was a EF-4.
However, after seeing the Wichita EF-5 back in the early '90's, yeah, it's an EF-5.
NWS is due out later to determine whether EF4 or EF5, but from “scouring” of ground, weathercasters are calling it EF5.
Whatever it was, it was a bad one.
U of Oklahoma opened a lot of their housing facilities to those who needed shelter.
Walmart Emergency Center was loading trucks and contacting ‘associates’ in impacted areas. WMT is good about providing major help during such crises.
News9 TV station in OKC area was taking donations yesterday (food, money, basics). They said the money would be handed to the Red Cross for ‘use’.
The width and strength of that tornado and the horriffic damage it caused looks alot like the Plainfield, IL tornado. That one was just down the road from where I live.
If anyone knows of a good recovery effort to donate to (NOT Red Cross - Local in OK if possible) please post that information on this thread. I have to leave for work but will be checking back during my lunch break.
