I do hope that there is something to this. But that comment there tells me the ‘former diplomat’ is an idiot. Charlie Wilson was one of the few people in the US governement who really understood what was going on in Afghanistan.

Many people believe that an SA-7 and a Stinger are the same thing. The Stinger is American made. The SA-7 is not made in America.
This certainly paints a pretty clear picture of it all. The CIA had executed Obama’s foolish plans in Tunisia and Egypt but things weren’t progressing fast enough in Libya. Khaddaffi was embarrassing the WH daily with his charades so Obama and Clinton turn the State Department into a paramilitary organization while the CIA washes its hands and moves on to Syria.
