A recent picture in Time magazine showed an Obama staffer leaning casually against a column in the White House portico. The caption read, “This White House chief of staff has been working to neutralize Washington’s toxic political environment.”
The picture is of Denis McDonough, President Barack Obama’s new chief of staff. There is not a trace of irony in Time’s presentation, even though many Americans would wonder from which planet the editor came.
The picture couldn’t have been more ironic if it had been taken in 1943 showing a German functionary at the Reichstag with a caption reading, “This official has been working to neutralize the threat to Western civilization against the vast Slavic untermenschen hordes.”
A propagandist working for the Obama campaign would have been embarrassed by the caption, but Time magazine throws it out as if describing the rising of the moon.
Outside of the media itself, after five years of massive and intrusive bills that no one reads, running unprecedented federal debts and now an increasing number of scandals, is there anyone remaining who believes that we have an objective press?
Perhaps even the media is now having second thoughts after discovering that the Justice Department illegally wiretapped telephone records of reporters and editors of the Associated Press. Even the AP noted this was a “massive and unprecedented intrusion” by the feds.
Obama’s government lied about Benghazi and then lied about lying about Benghazi. This government will lie so habitually that it will lie even when it doesn’t have to.....

I have not watched the evening news programs in several years.
I decided to scan back and forth on the 3 regular networks. At least they mentioned the IRS scandal but as far as I could tell, none of the others. They were also in full protect Obama mode, tho they had a few seconds of Republican responses, one characterized as “admitting they have no knowledge that Obama did anything wrong”. Which was quite a stretch.
I also noticed that two of the networks had major Black Civil Rights stories on. Just a coincidence?
msm will proclaim obama man of the century marveling at how how he crawled through a river of his own shit and came out clean
Here’s a typical example of what my progressive acquaintances have to say: “I still don’t see a “scandal” here. I’ve been audited: was it because of my politics? Should I demand Congressional hearings?”
Mainstream media can see the scandal. They can see everything and agree with everything as well. They are progressives who support abortion, gay marriage, sexual promiscuity, and abhore the military. They especially abhore liberty because ‘where the SPIRIT of the LORD is, there is liberty.’
Mainstream media is a mirror of what America has become - a nation that has turned its back on the LORD. America is like Israel in the days of ISAIAH 59:
Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,
nor his ear too dull to hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated
you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you,
so that he will not hear.

Most of these Tea Party cases were not “audits,” instead, they had applied for non-profit status and were abused, stone-walled for years, spied on, harassed by the IRS, FBI, Homeland Security and local officials and kept in limbo while the Obama administration approved progressive organizations in a matter of days.

In the ‘reverse’, I was such a ‘Wuss’ as a kid that I would have to ‘lie’ to the Priest during Confession - by MAKING UP apparent sins - so he wouldn’t ‘think’ of me as a ‘Wuss’.
Of course, that probably guarantees me a ‘1 way ticket to Hell - well maybe Purgatory for a very extended stay- but definitely NOT the Express Lane to Heaven.
He is a Party member so there is no scandal.
