I live in the Boise area. This guy was teaching others, over the internet, how to build bombs. He had been doing so in Utah before moving to Boise.
He was in contact with terror groups over the net, was offering instructions (both on the net and as downloads) and training documents on how to buikld and detonate the things. He also had some material and devices with him.
It is not clear whether he intended to personally carry out an attack...but that is immaterial.
This guy will not see the light of day for a long, long time...if ever, and IMHO, he should be taken to a CIA facility and wriong out intelligence wise, and then executed as an enemy combatant.
The enemies we fight are smart...they are resourceful...and they are cunning and dedicated to destroying our way of life, our liberty, and as many of us as they can.
We need to fight these bastards and everyone who supports them, including civilian populations and supporting Mosques, just like we fought the Nazis and Imperial Japanese in World War II and ruthlessly destroy and annihilate their war fighting capability and their moral and complete support base. We need to do so, including destroying any villages or town that give willing support in any way to these people, until those people literally cry to us for complete, unconditional surrender and view terms like “Sharia Law,” “Jihad,” “Islamic Caliphate,” and all other ideological/political portions of their so-called religion, and those who follow them, as a pariah.
After that, if they want to pray to Allah seven times a day...fine. But Sharia Law and Jihad and Caliphates are done...and nmust be made to be viewed the way Nazism is viewed today.
If we do not do this...we will be fighting these people and bleeding ourselves for the next hundred years.
