DOJ on 'gays': 'Silence will be interpreted as disapproval'
WND ^ | 5/17/13 | Matt Barber

Under President Obama, “justice” is anything but blind. Neither is it deaf. In fact, based on recent revelations, it appears to be watching your every move and listening to your every word. Still, if you happen to be a federal employee, now it’s even listening for your silence.

The only thing this Obama White House seems to generate is scandal. Well, here’s yet another to add to the growing list. In addition to the Benghazi cover-up, IRS targeting of political dissenters and the illegal seizure of media phone records, whistleblowers within DOJ have contacted Liberty Counsel to express grave concerns over this administration’s latest attack on freedom. Our sources have provided Liberty Counsel an internal DOJ document titled: “LGBT Inclusion at Work: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Managers.” It was emailed to DOJ managers in advance of the left’s so-called “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month.”

The document is chilling. It’s riddled with directives that grossly violate – prima facie –employees’ First Amendment liberties.

Following are excerpts from the “DOJ Pride” decree. When it comes to “LGBT pride,” employees are ordered:

“DON’T judge or remain silent. Silence will be interpreted as disapproval.” (Italics mine)

That’s a threat.

If this is true and "SILENCE WILL BE INTERPRETED AS DISAPPROVAL" then I would think this is total power overreach by this administration. This needs to be looked into.

This photo sums up everything absurd, delusional and evil about the gay agenda that one can say. A picture is worth tens of thousands of words, in this case.

At some point, when the ‘rules’ of the game keep changing and become more and more stacked against you, you just have to stop playing.

Thought control.

I, like most Americans who are over 50, remember a country in which the constitution and its 10 amendments meant something. A country in which the government was not up our a$$es, down our throats, in our reproductive organs, in our bank accounts, sniffing in our retirement accounts, reading our mail, listening to our phone calls, asking our neighbors to report “wrongdoing,” sucking out the contents of our wallets and in our minds trying to ferret out unacceptable thoughts.

The FBI was a highly respected organization. The irs was a pain, but was not yet being used as a gestapo/KGB.

There once was such a country. We were proud of it. Now I’m ashamed of what it has become.

Will they be charging Obama over his SILENCE when a homosexual was murdered in Benghazi?

SILENCE WILL BE INTERPRETED AS DISAPPROVAL

Like the article said, somewhere George Orwell is smiling.

And yet, letting people know you are a Christian is now against the rules.

The boy king is wildly out of control and needs to be removed sooner rather than later.

Many including myself, grandad, dad served admirably defending life, liberty, pursuit of happiness....

Those now are all convoluted goals brought on by self absorbed politicians, and those seeking something frim nothing.

Yes, the takers are coddled at the expense of the makers.

I don't find this as shocking as some do.

This is not an earth-shattering change; rather, this is simply a matter of incrementalism that has been going on for the past 10-15 years (at least) within both the government and within corporate America.

It's all part of the "diversity" curriculum. It went on during the Clinton Era, the Bush 43 era, and the Øbama era. (And, while I remember this with race and sex -- rather than homosexuality -- during the Reagan and Bush 41 eras, it wouldn't surprise me if the groundwork for this was laid then...)

It's simply a matter of Cass Sunstein style "nudging" of society. Nothing new and, sadly, nothing dramatic.

The only way that I can see for the clock to be reversed here is by letting the Visigoths breach the walls and for this world to be plunged back into utter darkness for a few hundred years. I don't even advocate violent revolution, as I don't think there is enough of a critical mass of people left to make the needed cultural changes.

Sadly,

“...I don't think there is enough of a critical mass of people left to make the needed cultural changes.”

With the immigration “reform” bill presenting tens of millions of border crossers from our south to the voting process, I believe you are right.

Retaining our prerogatives in this post-Christian era will be a challenge.

There is silence only because straight people are persecuted by government for freedom of speech and freedom of religion. This nation is upside down with democrat leadership.

Gay Americans Make Up 4 Percent of Population

Snip: April 8, 2011 An estimated 9 million Americans -- or nearly 4 percent of the total population -- say they identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, according to a new report released this week from the Williams Institute, a think-tank devoted to LGBT research at UCLA.
