GOP Rep. Mike Kelly was a huge hit at Fridays House hearing on IRS harassment of conservative groups as he skewered acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller.
Some tasty highlights from his fiery rant:
Rep Kelly to Miller: You think this is uncomfortable? Try being a citizen being targeted by the IRS.
Kelly: "This confirms that the #IRS can do anything they want, anytime they want, to anyone they want. "
"Where you're sitting, you should be outraged, but you're not." Rep, Kelly to Miller #IRS #Waysandmeanscommittee
"Is there any limit to the scope as to where you folks can go?
It's sure as hell intimidating." - Rep Kelly #IRS

ABC radio news played a snippet with the applause, then huffily reported that the applause came from “Tea Party activists” in the gallery.

Proud Kelly is from my state....
I am hopeful his speaking out...and especially the standing ovation...will “signal” other Representatives not to hold back in the future....rather rip into them and tell it just how it is.
Finally a voice that expressed the utter disdain and outrage.....let’s hope some might even outdo Kelly!!!!

I can't tell you how great it was to come home tonight and see this video and these threads about what Kelly stated. Best coming home I've had in a very long time!
So great to know it came from Pa.!!! Lets hope others are willing to go to bat even more-so as this thing plays out!

Good video, but I doubt it would impress the majority of the American citizens who have boundless faith in big governmet of all kinds.

Well, dearest caww. Like we talked about before, PA is a great state but for the inner cities where the voting fraud takes place!

I know it could be a great state if we just cleaned out the cities....we see it every election cycle and it’s so infuriating....we hold our breath and pray that there are enough rural Pennsylvanians who will vote....too many don't even care to know what's going on.
The gals I work with all vote...none can carry a conversation about what's happening....none knew about this hearing when I brought it up.....nor Bengazi...or any of these scandals. They haven't a clue what's going on..and only polite interest as I shared about these...it's very discouraging sometimes.:(

That’s a good start. I’d add to that -
Prosecute everyone involved (up to and including the President) to the fullest extent of the law.
Cancel the pensions of anyone involved.

" 1) Once one of these people are threatened with true and real jailtime, theyll sing like canaries. "
Kinda like when the guard and the prison warden in the movie Shawshank Redemption get caught.

What an idiot.
When the Democrats decided to take out Nixon, they were cold and calculating.
When did Sam Ervin or Peter Rodino have an "epic rant"? Never, that's when.
Rants are for show, special prosecutors and contract investigators with subpoena powers are for dough.

***the jackbooted IRS***
I know it is hard for good Americans to accept, but while they slumbered their freedoms were seized. SCOTUS fellow-traveler John Roberts put the final nail in the coffin when he re-worded the Affordable Care Act to read 'tax', thus giving the government the ability to regulate every aspect of our lives.
We now live in a tyranny and I strongly suspect we shall not regain our God-given freedoms through the ballot box... Still, I suppose we must try.
Has anyone noticed that the enemy of the Democraps and the Marxists are the producers in this country - the Tea Party? - the folk who actually pay the bills?
We have come down to it, Americans.

[Rep Kelly to Miller: You think this is uncomfortable? Try being a citizen being targeted by the IRS.]
Uhuh.
In October 2009, a few weeks after returning home from this...
(Angry "white"guys. LOL.)
...I got letter from the IRS claiming I owed them over $60,000 that I (per the pending audit results) didn't owe. They also referred to an "initial request for information" that I never received.
Uncomfortable? IRRITATING? Uhuh.
Rip their g'nads off Rep Kelly.
