Unexpectedly Lisa Myers of NBC makes some great points about this in the vid, “[I]f this fact came out in September 2012, in the middle of a presidential election? The terrain would have looked very different.” Yep, and if it was exposed at the same time that the Admin lied about the youtube vid, even RINO-Romney might have had a chance.
So what is the end game with this?
NBC allowed some honest? Didn't the Obama team send them their talking points?
its all so sad. so pathetic
Eliminating political opposition,
and eventually, eliminating the people with opposing viewpoints.
It’ll drag on for a while - then slowly people in the press will start to understand what’s really happening. When they start putting out the truth, the American public will be outraged.
A group of dems will go to Obama and ask him to resign... for the sake of the party. At that point we’ll either discover what Janet’s 1.6 billion bullets were for - or Obama will do the right thing - and follow in Nixon’s footsteps...
Would it have affected the outcome. Not do sure. The Obamabots would have voted for him anyway, the Romney-haters wouldn’t have voted for him anyway, and all of the other cheating still would have taken place.
Obama is part of the Chicago machine. Scandals don't take a machine down, they just start attacking the ones who report it.
Living next door to IL, I have seen this play out a few times. The only question I have is this. Does Obama have the same loyalty from the national press as the machine does in IL? If he does, it will be off the radar by the end of June.
I don't see this hurting him as bad as many think it will.
“So what is the end game with this?”
This is a stress test of the state run media.
From time to time the regime needs to make sure their most important division is operating at top efficiency.
Media gets an A-
You know, that makes sense.
A s%^T test. See if they will take it.
Bastard
Bump
We have been lied to and we have been had.
Hopefully we'll see the population increase soon
THEY WERE ORDERED
Did the whitehut know? Video at link, start at 6:00 mark
Bloomberg reporter: Can you assure the American people that nobody in the White House knew about the IRSs actions before your Counsels office found out about the IG probe?
Obamas response: I can assure you that I certainly did not know anything about the IG report before the IG report had been leaked through press reports.
Kelly brings up that the AP thereafter interpreted that as as denial of knowledge of the IRS practices. AP headline was Obama assures he did not know about IRS political targeting, which of course, was not at all what he said but no doubt what he wanted the take away to be.
So if you dont respond specifically to that direct a question, what may one conclude?
Either you did know, or you are so unclear as to the involvement of your administration, you choose to deflect the question.
McCarthy discusses the concept in the law of implied admission when one doesnt actually respond.
The American people deserve much more than weasel responses from our President.
This is bigger news that many probably realize...
A case could be made that the GOP establishment had more to gain from blocking the grassroots movement than Obama and the Rats would gain.
It would not surprise me if we found GOP unclean hands somewhere in this IRS mess.
After all, the IRS Commissioner who kicked it all off was a Bush appointee. Surely, the GOP has infiltrated the IRS over the years so that it could use the incompetence of the IRS to its political advantage.
Wasn't the GOP (Nixon) the first to be caught with it's hand in the cookie jar?
We'll learn a lot from how vigorously the GOP congress-critters pursue this IRS mess. It wouldn't surprise me if the IRS scandal goes away much faster than any of us would like.
