The Wapo is so determined to use buzzwords like “house Republicans” and “partisan lines” that the article is incomprehensible to any who don’t automatically decode it. And this bill is not going to change a thing, but even so, Wapo cannot give up its buzzwords. They’re like a magical ward that they fear will not protect them if they do not utter them.

So the House is still pretending that the US government is functioning under constitutional order. Trying to repeal something that is not even legal to begin with

Elections have consequences.....the bad guys won in 06 and 08, and thus got this illegal bill passed. They won just enough on 2012 to keep it so.

Republicans love big government just as much as Democrats do, they just pretend they dont in order to win elections and delude the sheeple into thinking we really do have 2 distinct political parties.Got that right.
I was listening for the GOP to call for abolishing the IRS and am still waiting.

No offense, but when a vote REALLY mattered earlier this year, the dummies voted to fund it! Bob

No Republican voted for Obamacare.
Not one.
That is on the “record”.
Have you not followed this issue at all?

They can only keep Obamacare if they can defend it. I like to see this push back. Good start making a mess for the democrats and the feds- and don’t stop. Everyone needs to read Rules For Radicals, and start pushing back in every single place where we have influence, and can get away with it.
Turn around is fair play. Right?

Pyrrhic victory , for now.. but the record stands.

what the heck, let the big bytes of new taxes and healthcare costs take effect ,, come 2014 November ,, more than a few will be agitated and not just from our side ,, we have weathered worse storms.. times may change but the same ilk of idiots usually get elected and botch the things up for the rest of us.

Kabuki theater. Why can't the GOP-e leadership use their Royal Flush when they pass Debt Ceilings, repeal of "Bush Tax rates", and pass how many Continuing Resolutions???? Everyone above room temperature know this vote MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and results in nothing more than giving Obama the finger.

I’m a pessimist, so... the media is going to bury it, after they cover people like Reid, Obama and Pelosi laughing about it.

Damn useless gesture. Stop passing the continuing resolutions and obamacare is defunded.
