I have a customer in Sulphur Springs, are they under any threat from this storm track?
OMGosh. I remember one year we visited after a hail storm and all the cars in the ARlington area looked like they had been beaten with a baseball bat. This might have been after the tornado that hit Downtown Ft. Worth that year.
From earlier: Thirty-two counties in Texas and four in Oklahoma were under a tornado watch until 1 a.m. CT.

Sirens are still blowing but pretty calm at the moment compared to earlier. We’re hanging out, watching TV (channel 8). Older kid ticked he can’t watch “River Monsters” while youngest is a little scared.

Sounds really bad in Granbury on scanner. Setting up red, yellow and black triage. Fatalities not being reported in media yet..but scanner has deaths.
That may have been the big hail storm of 2011. Darn near every roof in a four county area was replaced here. Thousands upon thousands of cars were damaged. My truck still bears the scars of that storm.
Thanks for the update. I know you will stay safe so I won’t say it again.
Correction, heading east from Cuba to south of Alverado.
Sulpher Springs is clear at the moment, but the night is young.
They MAY be in the path of the Dallas supercell if it can hold itself together...it is probably ~ 1-2 hours west/southwest of Sulphur Springs.
Good to hear. Hopefully the worst has passed for your area.
Tell your kid that River Monsters repeats over and over. He won't miss anything :-)
I’m just a bit north of Dallas proper. Looks like most of the first wave is going to just miss me. No ideas about the second one. Waiting and watching.
yep, the hubby and I are staying up late watching the news. So far we are all good here in Coppell(Dallas County), but sad for our neighbors in the Dallas area.
Not good.
Good to hear that you both are safe...praying for the less fortunate.
Dallas Zoo area shows dark red on radar, now.
