This has nothing to do with lowering DUI deaths. This has everything to do with raising revenues and making more people criminals.
More people are drinking because of the core problems of the country starting with the massive Obama failure, and thus now the vultures circling are growing in numbers and need more road kill, so they drop the BAC level, get billions more in revenues.
especially they need more money to buy more ammo that is more limited and expensive.

Our City just admitted they can't even monitor what they have. Huge money maker. Stops accidents?? Ridiculous...these are all in 30 MPH zones...and that's a max cuz there is a light every 800 feet.

Years ago a retired Officer of the Law ( Captain if my memory is corect) wrote Car and Driver ( aka when Brock Yates was in charge) and said this all gained traction when the Feds offered matching funds and that esentially it was a power grab and to build departments etc. Yates had the cohones to print it.
Since then I have talked to Bar - Resturant owner that told me I can survive Obamacare, but I can't survive .06 and MADD, and it will drive people to private parties and to do even stupider things....
It is too un PC to talk about this and I just did, i.e. their are other ways to think about this subject matter and other opinions...
