Are they going to have teachers telling the kids how to vote and busing them to the polling stations?

Nothing like having young idiots voting for their own benefits. Heck sure works for the older folks too!

Something tells me that we’ll be seeing more of this kind of thing. If a felon who has served his time can vote, shouldn’t he also be able to own a firearm incidentally? as long as we’re restoring their rights and all.

imho the voting age should be raised to 25 and that too, only after two conditions:
1. A person has served at least 1 year for society -- this can be the military or reserve or volunteer work (doctors, nurses, engineers, even hair-dressers for the elderly or poor) or community work (cleaning graffiti etc)
2. They have paid at least 6 months of taxes
People should realise that voting is a privilege granted to those who become a member of and contribute to society

Somehow I knew, before clicking the link, that this would turn out to be the Peoples’ Republic of Takoma Park. As liberal as Maryland is, these guys make the rest of the state look like the John Birch Society, in comparison. . .

I hadn't thought of ex-felons having their 2nd amendment rights restored...Leftists are so inconsistent when it comes to liberty.

I have always shared that thought too. Have to be 25 to vote and have paid taxes for at least a year. You really don’t know much about life at all until you are at least 25. The difference in maturity between 18 and 25 is huge.
To: Olog-hai
The human brain does not fully develop until about age 25. It would make sense to align the voting age with the age of physical maturity.

I admire the Liberals as they leave no stone unturned on their march to total victory. I wish we would do the same.

Takoma Park, MD, of course, a well known nuclear free zone. Now that Doctor Raoul Demming of the Takoma Park Demmings is no longer with us, the City idiots think they can get away with anything.

I think property ownership should be a voting requirement. Like it was back in the day.
