Lois Lerner, the senior IRS official at the center of the decision to target tea party groups for burdensome tax scrutiny, signed paperwork granting tax-exempt status to the Barack H. Obama Foundation, a shady charity headed by the president’s half-brother that operated illegally for years.
According to the organization’s filings, Lerner approved the foundation’s tax status within a month of filing, an unprecedented timeline that stands in stark contrast to conservative organizations that have been waiting for more than three years, in some cases, for approval.
Lerner also appears to have broken with the norms of tax-exemption approval by granting retroactive tax-exempt status to Malik Obama’s organization.

U.S. President Barack Obama’s half-brother has been denied a visa to come back to Britain after he earlier gave a false name to police when accused of an attempted sexual assault, British newspapers reported on Sunday.
A database showed that British police arrested Samson Obama, who lives in Kenya, last November after he allegedly tried to sexually assault a young girl, the News of the World said.

Going by my experiences with the urban rumor mill, black Americans have been fed story after story for generations that pretty much fault the “power structure” for all their ills. They believe that white people have been trying to keep them down but they never really seem to blame white democrats for these perceived impositions just “the white power structure”. You have to pay taxes to “the white power structure” see Lauryn Hill. You get audited for not paying your taxes or making egregious errors “white power structure”, You have to pay your bills, “white power structure”.. you have to pay for gas “white power structure”.. you have to pay for cable “white power structure”.. the street light are busted because of the “white power structure”, crack and AIDS were invented by “the white power structure” the buses don’t run on time.. you get the point. In their eyes, whitey has been “getting away with it” for generations and now that Obama is in power, all those things white people have been doing are “wrong”.
If Obama goes down, it won’t end pretty.

An organization that applies for a 501(c) 3 status as a non-profit, non-political charitable, educational organization, automatically has a tax-exempt status but it is not activated until the IRS grants it official recognition as such.
Then previous donations can become tax-deductible. Usually it took about 3-6 months for a tax exempt status to be granted. Under Obama, it’s a lifetime, which is illegal.
Believe me, this topic has a long history of the Left breaking all kinds of IRS codes, as I testified through a study to the House Ways & Means Committee in 1987, but nobody was interested in what I had discovered as an investigative reporter.

I think the odd thing (well, one of them) about this was that the Obama organization proclaimed contributions as tax deductible even before they received 501(c)3 status. Incidentally, I read somewhere that most of the tea party orgs were applying for a different status (501(c)4?) which didn’t even permit their contributions to be tax deductible. In that case, the whole point was to slow them down if not definitively halt them until after the election.
