(CNSNews.com) - The Internal Revenue Service has given no indication to the House Ways and Means Committee about whether it will respond to the committee’s demand, delivered in writing last Friday, that the agency hand over copies of all internal communications containing the words “tea party,” “patriot,” or “conservative” and the names and titles of all IRS officials involved in discriminating against tea party and conservative groups when they submitted applications for tax-exempt status.
Better for us if they don’t, in the long run, because the longer they drag this out the worse it is going to get.
What difference, at this point, does it make?
Fine, maybe ALL taxpayers shouldn’t comply with THEIR demands.
These people should be hanging from lamp posts.

At this point, I’m going to make a prediction:
Nothing’s going to come out of any of this. Nothing substantive, anyway.
It’s sorta like election night last year. With all of the predictions that Romney would win, when the first returns came in at 7 PM EST, we ALL knew it was going to be Obama Part II. The results didn’t match the grandiosity of the predictions.
Despite the egregious nature of the crimes committed by this administration, many laid bare here this week, I believe nothing will happen to the Teflon President. Some low-level IRS and DOJ people will lose their jobs, but Obama & Company will continue on, unscathed.
Yup. Looks like they are trying to protect someone.
Nothing at all came of the Clinton’s abuse of the IRS.

No, I meant to post more and it addressed lampposts.
Quite frankly, the number of Americans with any sort of bloodlust for the socialists in DC is relatively low compared to the American population at large. Honey Boo Boo, Duck Dynasty, and American Idol are still on TV. Why bother with real life, right?

The US tax system is based on voluntary compliance. Should every taxpayer refused to pay, the IRS doesn’t have the personpower to prosecute everyone (or so they say).
I agree. I expect that nothing will come of this and I also expect John Boehner to start apologizing for the rudeness of Republicans any time now.
And if nothing is done about this then that makes the case for a revolution as the means of redress.

If this was Republicans trying to take down Obama, I’d agree with you, nothing would come of it.
But this time it’s different. This is internecine intra-Democrat Party War.
