Our survival as a species is dependent on women taking charge, Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) told a gathering at a campaign fundraiser earlier this month.
She made the comment before introducing Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund
I really do believe that we are at a tipping point from which there could be no turning backa turning point that the traditional male hierarchy of the world ignores at their own peril. A peril that puts us all in the unacceptable dangeractually of extinction, so let us begin the era of the woman.

I had another job interview today. Some of those interviewing me were “career women” who didn’t take the mommy track that I have. Their FIRST question after looking at my education and then lack of career time is, “Why didn’t you work?”. I raised four children, took care of them myself, was married, volunteered in school, community. Boy Scouts for 5 years, Girl Scouts for 4. Worked as a sub in the schools, all around my kids schedule, school and activities. Don’t tell me I didn’t “work”. I just didn’t get MONEY for it. Now I can’t find a job. Darn Feminists.
It’s obviously hard work, and one of the most important jobs...raising the next generation of Americans. Feminists made it seem as if it were slavery or subjugation.
“Women Taking Charge”
Kind of sounds like the name of a new sitcom about a group of young whacky, kinky dominatrixes. They live downstairs where the dungeon is and have a nutty landlord who lives upstairs. They’re always trying barter for the rent money, but he’s having none of it. I think if I was paid enough I could script at least one season.
What’s up with that Janny? I thought you commie ‘RATS told us that a Marxist Kenyan thug from the streets of Chicago was the only one who could save the planet. While you were voting for the Kenyan thug Barry Soetoro because of his skin color, I was voting for Sarah Palin.
Well the only danger of extinction I can see is the fact that millions of babies are killed each year by abortion. Some countries are aborting themselves out of existence. Having liberal women in charge, effectively, for the past 40 years has wrought this state of affairs. Can’t see how having more of them in charge would make the situation any better.
This has been my experience now. Every interview. Why do so many not value raising kids? We were fortunate in that we lived very frugaly (very few vacations, or extras) so that one of us could stay home with the kids. That was decided and he had the job, I was in grad school. I decided after our first was born, that no way could I turn him over to someone else to feed and nurture. Now, by those I am getting interviewed by, I’m asked that question like I am a freak for taking care of my own kids and neighbors kids.
You did the right thing, to hell with them.
They Govt. has made it darn near impossible for a one-income family to survive. I understand that many parents can’t make that choice.
This always amazes me...the fact that women are responsible for the death of millions of humans every year through abortion seem to escape proponents of this nonsense.
Like it or not, women have killed more people in the last 20 years than all the wars in the last 100.
Thank you. But Dear Lord, I need a job that pays now. I’m broke (thanks to Family Court), no benefits of any kind which means I don’t have a home anymore (or money). I went up to the Govt. counter to ask where I should go for the interview (govt. job), and the young lady working the counter has visible tats all up and down her arm (short sleeves) and piercings. I’m dressed for the interview in a suit and pumps. I see Govt. workers arriving back from lunch in flip flops. This is a Court position. What the heck?
Darn good point.
Watch the movie Idiocracy, you’ll feel better for a while.
Yes, you are probably right. Besides, my cat would probably have trouble distinguishing between Pelosi and the litter box.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will check it out.
Your welcome.
If I was forced to choose between her path and possible extinction, I see nothing but disaster over the short to mid term with her path(I see no long term possible following her path) so I would choose possible extinction since her path would absolutely lead to extinction.
I see plenty of them in gov’t makework jobs and in mid managment in the private sector. It is sickening. I wear suit and tie myself to interviews and the like.
Brings new meaning to “If it bleeds it leads”
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I looked like a darn lawyer (Heaven forbid, lol).
