President Barack Obama on Monday furiously dismissed as a "political circus" Republican charges that his administration had misled the public about the Sept. 12, 2012, attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya. Obama said the accusations of a cover-up dishonor the memory of the four Americans killed in the onslaught.
"There’s no 'there' there,” Obama insisted during a joint question-and-answer session with British Prime Minister David Cameron at the White House. "And the fact that this keeps on getting churned out, frankly, has a lot to do with political motivations."
The president’s angry words came after news reports surfaced Friday that the White House had overseen a process that repeatedly watered down administration talking points on the attack, removing references to possible involvement by al-Qaida and to prior warnings about threats in Benghazi. Republicans have charged that the White House was worried about the potential political fallout from the spectacular terrorist attack during Obama's re-election campaign. The White House has repeatedly denied that it deliberately misled the public.
"The whole issue of talking points, frankly, throughout this process has been a sideshow," Obama said.
The talking points, which portrayed the attack as evolving from a demonstration of anger at an Internet video that mocked Islam, "pretty much matched the assessments that I was receiving at that time in my presidential daily briefing," he added, referring to his top-secret morning intelligence review with the CIA.

Of course the press will latch onto this and believe every word out of the POS’ mouth...they will not go back and do a time line. They will take his words out of context. So, all is well in Obamaland today unfortunately.
Meanwhile, he said the IRS matter was bad and those responsible in the IRS need be taken to task for it. A decent press would jaxtapose his commentary and that of his administration about the Tea Party and Strict Constitutionalists to what they were doing and note he was the initiator of that behavior.
Too bad when he was golfing the other day, a decent thunder storm did not spring up.
I am tired of being bullied by BO and his sycophants.
A recent public opinion poll asked 1,000 folks to name who they believed to be were the most trusted people in America. Something like 7 of the top 10 were Hollywood actors with TOM HANKS at number 1.
I would ask Tom Hanks to reconcile the following facts:
You were featured in at least two films based upon the traditional American idea that the lives of those who serve this country have value and worth nearly any price to save. It’s the “No man left behind” thing. Those films were “Apollo Thirteen” and “Saving Private Ryan.” Additionally, you and Spielberg joined to produce the “Band of Brothers” series.
You (and Spielberg) were staunch supporters of and contributors to Obama during both his runs for the White House.
It has been clear to many of us from mid-September, 2012 that Obama or, with his approval, a top official ordered the brave men who were prepared to go to Benghazi to attempt to save Ambassador Stevens and 3 other Americans to STAND DOWN. The recent congressional hearings have simply added more evidence that those men were abandoned to die at the hands of MUSLIM madmen.
May I ask you how you justify such massive hypocrisy?

PS: Since Michelle Obama came in at number 19, it would seem the sampling for this poll was seriously skewed.
The Clintons did this for eight years, and the only price they paid was some embarrassment over Lewinsky.
Obama has created his own three ring circus with the coverups this administration has orchestrated:

We know that Hillary and Obama knew this was a terrorist attack from the start. So why did they make and release that commercial in the Middle East apologizing for a movie that they knew had nothing to do with the assault? What is the reasoning behind that? They wanted to convince the Middle East voters to vote Democrat? They can’t vote in our elections. What’s the purpose of that commercial?
