USBC News Wire- Yet a another major scandal is rocking the already extraordinarily unpopular Obama administration, this time the controversy involves abuses by the IRS in targeting US citizens based on their political views.
It appears that agents used keywords to target groups in opposition to the governing Democratic administration. Remarkably, the agents found it acceptable to single out patriots for unprecedented behavior. The agents singled out their fellow citizens by using keywords such as “patriot” or “tea party” (itself a reference to the earliest American patriots) to identify groups that object to the policies of the current administration. Lois Lerner, senior Internal Revenue Service official, was unable to provide even a single example of similar targeting, harassment or intimidation of leftists organizations...

As much as I’d love to pin this whole thing on Obama, how can we do that? Unless there’s some red hot memo, isn’t it just going to be thugs in the IRS taking the fall for this one?

Obama must be impeached for this , using the IRS like a gestapo which it is of course as government is evil and doesn’t work.
Also targeting conservative groups invalidate the U.S. presidential election of 2012.
Obama and Obama’s IRS targeted conservative groups during the election to rig the results of the election.
Just wait till they’re determining who gets chemo, ICU beds and other medical treatments.

Conservatives are the only people who respect the civility of the law ,of our one great country, anymore- so we are the only ones paying taxes.
Everyone else skips out, or is looking for their government hand-outs.
It doesn’t make sense to screw us over- UNLESS they have a different funding source, who doesn’t like us.
I asserted even before it was passed that 0bamacare/Nationalized health care was just a vehicle for denying medical treatment to the left’s political enemies.
Obama’s just practicing for the day when no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast.
I was praying for something to take the entire administration down, if it be God’s will- and take some Republicans with it. Just impeaching Obama is not going to do anything at all.
Obama impeached just means business as usual.
Like many here on FreeRepublic, I had heard the pre-election rumors that the IRS was targeting conservatives. I made a contribution to the Romney campaign (not because Mitt was particularly conservative, but because he wasn’t Obama) but, in the back of my mind, I thought that this might potentially trigger an audit. I wonder how many people heard the same rumors (which, apparently were accurate) and decided to forgo a contribution just to be on the safe side.
I think you're right o-a-t, but just hearing about this reminded me of Nixon's "enemies list". Was Obama using the IRS to create and punish his own enemies list? If that memo exists, or someone talks, grab more popcorn.
It was always abundantly clear that the 0bama regime was using the IRS and any other government agency to target it's enemies.
They are freely admitting to it now as a Red Herring to divert attention from Benghazi, much like comrade Bubba klinton with monicagate, used to divert attention from his selling missile and guidance technology to the chicoms for campaign contributions.
It might help to get Obamacare killed...maybe...if we’re lucky?

This is an example of how militant so many liberals are. There are militant feminists, gays/ lesbians, unions, minorities,etc. they believe it’s perfectly okay for them to be this way.
If responded to this story elsewhere as follows; as bad as this is, I believe it’s being put out to distract us from the Bengazi slaughter. Obama can fire a few IRS employees and leave Hillary untouched. As serious as this is, no one died and the democrats can make it go away by destroying a few sacrificial lambs.
