Maybe yes, maybe no. Government employees are among the Dems biggest supporters and donors. Government unions for public employees almost always endorse Dem candidates.

Is it any wonder that Nuland and Kennedy, career employees in the State Department, defended the WH and Hillary? We may have reached the point where career employees are decidedly partisan and will use the power of government to further political interests.

I have no doubt that the political appointees set the tone, but I doubt the career employees had to be forced to do their bidding. Something is changing. I say that as someone who worked for the federal government for 36 years.

Their union was pushing, raising funds, campaigning for 0bama in 2008 and 2012. It may not have been an agency order, but a malicious union. Everybody is going to look at the agency...and the union thugs will walk.
