The Internal Revenue Service's scrutiny of conservative groups went beyond those with "tea party" or "patriot" in their namesas the agency admitted Fridayto also include ones worried about government spending, debt or taxes, and even ones that lobbied to "make America a better place to live," according to new details of a government probe.
The investigation also revealed that a high-ranking IRS official knew as early as mid-2011 that conservative groups were being inappropriately targetednearly a year before then-IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman told a congressional committee the agency wasn't targeting conservative groups.

I never knew there was a National Treasury Employees Union.
I don’t know what I was thinking?
Of course that is the place to start.
Obama and Unions are thick as thieves.

Federal employee groups step up political efforts as fall elections approach
NTEU had been working on nonpartisan voter registration efforts before the union formally endorsed Obama, but President Colleen M. Kelley said NTEU would be organizing local endorsements for Obama, running education efforts and turning out union members to vote and participate in campaign events. “NTEU chapters around the country are gearing up their efforts to help NTEU secure a ‘pro-federal employee’ president,” Kelley said.

Actually, when one looks at the open secrets link it clearly shows just how socialist our government truly is on the inside!
And quite frankly, it scares me. From that one link I conclude there is no longer anyway for the average citizen to have honest dealings with any part of the Federal Government.
There is already a law against it.
It’s called the Hatch act, but it appears that it has become another law Obama decided to ignore.
He ignores some laws and makes others doing pretty much whatever he wants to do.
I guess it must be OK though because the Congress and the Supreme Court both ignore his shenanigans.
I heard Mark discussing this the day it happened. Strange coincidence though that the IRS IG would finally come out the day after the Benghazi hearings.
I still don’t trust them.... never will.
