Former US President Jimmy Carter has once again expressed his blatantly anti-Israel allegiances by calling on the European Union to “introduce proper labeling of goods produced on illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.”
Carter was in Dublin together with former Irish president Mary Robinson and former Brazilian president Fernando Henrique Cardoso for talks with Irish Foreign Affairs Minister Eamon Gilmore and diplomats from some 20 European countries on revitalizing the peace process in the Middle East.
“With the Middle East peace process making no significant progress, we call on Europe to play a stronger and more independent role in revitalizing peace efforts, with a fresh approach,” Carter said, according to the European Jewish Press (EJP).
“The EU has repeatedly condemned settlement expansion in the West Bank. It could therefore introduce a clear labeling of products made in Israeli settlements, which are illegal under international law,” he added.
Ireland currently holds the rotating EU presidency until end of June.
Robinson claimed the move was not “anti- Israel,” but rather “a concrete step, supported by many of our Israeli friends, to revive the hope of a future state of Palestine and safeguard the two-state solution before it is too late,” EJP reported.

Proper labeling would be something like "made in Judea and Samaria, Israel", wouldn't it?
Labeling it “produced on an illegal Israeli settlement” would be a great pretext to sue for libel and contest the allegation of illegality. Lemons make lemonade, even on Israeli settlements.
Besides, God promised that the descendants of Abraham would keep on existing. If Satan could have the Jews killed, that would mean that God either (1) lied or (2) is not able to keep His promises. Either way, none of His promises could be trusted, the Bible would fall apart, and Satan would win. At least that’s what Satan thinks and he sure is trying mighty hard to eliminate all the descendants of Abraham!!
They should just routinely label him as “Anti-Semitic Former US President Jimmy Carter”, or the equivalent each time his name is mentioned.
You’ll note that they *regularly* do just the opposite, whenever Carter spews hate against Israel and/or Jews, there is *always* an apologist there to state that “this does not mean that he is anti-Semitic or anti-Jewish.”
If he wasn’t, then why every time he spews hate, somebody has to publicly deny that it is hate?
Imagine if every time Joe Biden spoke about a black person, or any issue concerning blacks, he called them the “n”-word, and then a spokesman immediately said, “This does not mean he is a racist”. Oh really?
Well folks, look at the model for Obama. Here it is 2013, and Carter is still getting it wrong with his loudest voice in public. It’s been 33 years since he left office.
Obama will leave office in January 2017. We can expect to see him doing the same thing until well after 2050.
