U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said Sunday that the IRS´ admission of targeting various conservative groups for extra scrutiny was "absolutely chilling," and she called on President Barack Obama to apologize. "This is truly outrageous and it contributes to the profound distrust that the American people have in government," Collins said on CNN´s "State of the Union." "It is absolutely chilling that the IRS was singling out conservative groups for extra review, and I think it´s very disappointing that the president hasn´t personally condemned this and spoken out."

By golly, the tide might be turning.
Or is it just so outrageous it can’t be over looked...
Oh, and Susan, an apology won’t be enough...

The corruption runs deeper than the top layer of scum, of which President Obama is a shining example.
His resignation would be meaningless.
The pond needs to turn over or better yet drained of all these corrupticians and fresh patriots placed in at all levels of government.

Apologize? Apologize? Apologies mean nothing to Bam, he’ll just go back to the Alinsky playbook and go in another direction.

I agree. Apology is useless. Every FReeper needs to call their congressman and demand this be treated as an impeachable offense. This whole IRS scandal goes to the most base violation of misuse of power and destroys the essential trust in the government.
This must not be dismissed with an apology.

Or is it just so outrageous it cant be over looked... Or this is thrown out to distract the press from Benghazi over the weekend.

For some reason the MSM is not mentioning that the IRS also targeted other groups of U.S. citizens too, like Jewish organizations.

Apology-—too little too late-—just like the fraud that was laid on US citizens in voting “irregularities” and Benghazi LIES.

Who would have done something like this? Let’s see.
The IRS reports to the Treasury Secretary.
The Treasury Secretary reports to the President.

How can we accept an apology when this episode was to effect an election. This was criminal of the highest level.
To: Nachum
Obama must resign and state that he was never eligible for being the pResident of the United States. All democrats whom signed on that he is eligible shall have their assets frozen and compensate the American people. Every democrat be assessed for the bills that this POS caused. Joe Biden will be required to step down too.
