MARCH 2012 : (EGYPT : DISMAYED EGYPTIAN PROFESSOR COMMENTS ON WESTERN POWERS & THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION’S SUPPORT OF “NEW AUTHORITARIANS”) “The most dramatic oppression of the region’s civil societies and the Arab Spring is not by means of weapons, or in the Middle East. It is not led by Gaddafi, Mubarak, Bin Ali, Saleh, or Assad. It is led by the powerful Islamist lobbies in Washington, D.C.,” writes Abdallah, a professor at Ain Shams University in Egypt who writes for the pan-Arab publication Elaph.
Abdallah says that months into the Arab Spring, he and other Egyptian freedom fighters realized that “the Western powers, and the Obama Administration have put their support behind the new authoritarians.”

They have the same world view that the Marxist regime holds. The press will never turn on the one. The regime and the MSM view Conservatives as their mortal enemies.
By 10pm tonight, most so called reporters that were at this news conference will come to their senses and realize their foray into real journalism was a mistake. They will quickly go back to 100% protection mode for the one.
to think pal how 49 states voted and now we can’t even win many of those states anymore and probably never will in my lifetime and I have about 40 years left
Yes, and I grew up and lived all my life in Southern CA... until a few years ago.
they invested so much time in getting him elected with their lies and cover ups that they just can;t admit they wee duped and used as fools
you might come form there but you are a southern belle now
I would think the main reason would be blackmail by the administration. Petraus has to know these thugs are serious. I am not sure he will risk all and do the right thing.
So you remember how great it was years ago. Heart breaking!
Was that news or someone's opinion. And remember, nobody saw John Dean coming.
For Reference ...
Update: “UPDATE (3:30 p.m.): White House press secretary Jay Carney addressed the meeting at today’s public briefing. He said reporters from 14 news organizations were present, including television, print and online.”
List of attendees please?

Chris Wallace, Special Report, just opened with, “WHITE HOUSE UNDER SIEGE”
Only if God gives me those years but we never know and the only thing I hope is that I leave a good legacy and for my kids a decent future

No bridge.
San Diego was still a small military town.
Population approximately 300 thousand, maybe less.
Dear God, I hope so!
Right!
I’m glad I don’t have 40 years left.
Not under present conditions!
” leave a good legacy and for my kids a decent future”
No joking here....I wish them the best. If I were still young, I would move to Montana.
I used to visit San Diego often. In the late 70’s especially.
NOW....word has it that Petreus was upset about them scrubbing the Talking points!
