Use of the SEALs to conduct the raid that killed Osama was tactically correct - a high risk mission into a third country that was our nominal ally, etc.
Use of the SEALs to conduct this raid was NOT tactically correct. The mission back ground called for a Ranger ground force. A difficult mission, yes, but at the same level as the Osama? “Not hardly Pilgrim!”
But then, I have only been around the SpecOp community since 1969 and have never had a headquarters tour to be properly infected.
