Report: RNC scrapped pre-election Benghazi ad; Conservatives demand to know why
Twitchy Staff
Did the RNC make a big mistake last fall? A new report by ABC News Jonathan Karl has many conservatives seeing red.
Johnatha Karl, ABC News, reports that this ad was put together by the RNC last fall but was scrapped at the last minute because of objections from the Romney campaign, which was concerned the ad would distract from Romneys efforts to focus on the economy.
Regardless of whether or not the Romney campaign actually played a role in the RNCs final decision, many conservatives are frustrated and angry with the RNC for keeping the ad buried at a time when the American public needed to know the truth: ...

I think the R Party is as infiltrated with Liberal demorats I've seen that coming for a while now. If anybody thinks it's not beyond
the evil of the left, well, you don't know the left that well.
The GOP needs a serious purge as much as the State department and the Pentagon.

This could be total BS fabricated by the media (ABC) or the DEMS, for what purpose is yet to be seen, since the RNC already look like complete idiots. Hell, anyone could put that together and say ‘LOOK! we had this ready and it was scrapped!” PROVE it was complete BEFORE November 8. This is prbably the same BS as the guy who phoned in with “evidence”. BS Seems more likely someone (OBAMA) needs a distraction. I don’t trust the mass media - they’re paid puppets of the DEMs.

Indeed. Its so depressing have two liberal political parties and no viable conservative party in our nation. Yes. And this is both a sign and a cause of America's becoming more and more like Europe.
Next step downward: multiple splinter parties and coalition governments.
Next after that: dismantling of large chunks of the Constitution as "outdated" and "not in keeping with current political realities"...
NO Cheers, unfortunately.
BTW, good analysis in post #43, nathan.

Karl Rove has a strict anti-victory policy as it pertains to Republicans.

BTW, I don't think there's any political solution to America's problems. We'll either part ways with each other under a mutual agreement or there will be horrific bloodshed. Either way, all sides cannot continue to peacefully occupy the same country.Judging by Obama's history I think he agrees with you and I do not think he expects to occupy the whole of the country peacefully.

some one on the dem side promised more perks and higher committee posts, they have all become sell outs or nearly all of them. Once the new ‘conservatives’ we were conned into voting for had a taste of power they turned libtards.

Romney didn't blast Candy (Fatass) Crowley when she defended Obama during the debate. It all makes you wonder who the GOP really is?
All this “defund” Obamacare is also crap. All the GOP controlled House has to do is don't allocate any funds to anything connected to Obamacare.

They scrapped it because it might have turned the election.I think it's safe to say at this point that they're all in bed together. They're not this stupid.

That was a good ad. The Romney campaign was too spineless to run with it. And we know damned well the dems would've used it exhaustively if the shoe were on the other foot.

Nothing but the election has happened,Run the ad NOW! Actually, they don't really need to. It'll generate buzz on its own and probably go viral. Even Dem wannabe Joe Scarborough was talking about it on MSDNC this a.m.

It was a good ad. But I don’t think most Americans would have had any idea what it was about. Most still don’t. It wouldn’t have made any difference. The other side cheated so extravagantly that no commercial could have turned the tide.
The forces of evil won. I do not know why God permitted this, but a commercial would not have made any difference.
