I don’t see that as the same thing as fixing the race, or as taking a willfull dive.

Personally - with the way things are now you have to wonder how many people want to take this on. Out of control debt, a rabid media, loss of world respect. Any conservative will face the hounds of hell for trying to fix our problems.

Wish we could have a Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz ticket - in either order. Those two have the guts and the fire.

If Mittens had won, which was entirely possible with higher turnout and lower voter fraud, the very same campaign incidents described in the article as the causes of the failure, would have been hailed as brilliant Solomon’s wisdom and causes of the victory.

And I thought it was because people stayed home.

I think she had to face reality - the media would be frothing at the mouth and so would the RINOs. There isn’t enough Tea Party support to make up for that. Heck even here on FR there are those who don’t have anything good to say.

Mitt Romney lost because of the following equation:

Obamacare = Romneycare.

Many in the base were convinced that Mitt would do nothing substantive to get rid of Obamacare, and stayed home.

I do believe, though, that if he had gotten out in front of the issue early, admitted that his erstwhile support of socialized medicine while MA gov was a mistake, and stated that if given the opportunity for a 'do-over', he would have vetoed his signature bill, he may very well have won.

Gov Palin is no longer relevant hahaha......that is funny. She lives rent free in the heads of liberals, and those who reply repeatedly she is not relevant.

Mittie lost because of the single national obsession which unites the Left and Right in a religious fervor, and is as real as Goron's globull warning! Can't step on the Third Rail, y'all!

Well, Palin was at least partially relevant to my vote last year. After the GOP convention basically told her “get lost,” and outlawed the words “tea party” from even being spoken, it proved the last straw for me. For the first time in my life, it was “adios” to the GOP.

Seeing Paul Ryan in the past two weeks stand up with Luis “La Raza” Gutierrez for amnesty, and then embracing homo adoption manages to even add further note of post-election disgust towards the whole “Romney-Ryan” ticket. Both of them make me want to puke.

Misogynistic?

Because I said she makes a damn fine sammich - all of a sudden I’m misogynistic?

What if I said she’s reall pretty too - for a gal her age - and that I wouldn’nt exactly kick her outta bed. Would that be misogynistic too?

How about I let you in on a little joke. I like messing with sara-bots and seeing them them get all defensive. I’m bored this afternoon. This gives me something to do.

Now, about that sammich.... I like cheese. Swiss will do. And mustard - no mayo.

Romney’s inability to respond cogently to the Benghazi attack was a key component of his defeat.

I agree but he was in a tough spot since his intelligence briefing (written by Huma) would have indicated the attack stemmed from out of control protests about the video.

Actually I think Romney's comment was about the anti-American demonstrations in Cairo, made before the attack on the consulate in Benghazi happened.

If this guy was the "senior advisor" to the Romney campaign, when will we hear from the junior advisor, the sophomore advisor, and the freshman advisor?

He blames his loss on not reaching the Hispanics and Blacks. They just don’t get it, he lost because the (damned) Conservatives stayed home in droves and didn’t vote...why was that?

Elections are won and lost on “Bread and Butter Issues” Problems created by government which affect everyones pocketbook. Instead they choked or tripped over past positions on global warming and Romneycare. Under Obama these became severly burdensome pocketbook issues and mourned about when the election post mortum was conducted. For these issues confronted every “demographic” in the political play book .They also allowed the media to set the agenda ..

Romney ran a ‘Johnny One Note Campaign’. Used a poison dart blow gun when he should have used a cannon loaded with grape shot because he had pleanty of stuff he could fill that cannon barrel with..

Besides failing to hammer away on what will happen when Obama gets returned; The Obama past due 2013/14 Tax Increases. The impact of Obamas gagging energy resources (a socialist construct never branded as such) with policies requiring reliance on intermittent sources wind and solar and that resulted in massive failure and corruption (barely re-mentioned).,restricted use of drilling, and the effective banning use of coal for electrification , and the restrctions on fracking.

Those Obama policies resulted in prices doubling or even trippling on everything.

This is where a connection could have been made to those on restricted incomes forcing a dependency on government. Instead they were singled out as lazy and indolent which fell right into the demo-com play book.

This was a dream bread and butter issue for the GOP which blew off that reached into every ‘demographics’ pocketbook.

They could have even ridiculed accepting the Demo-Com* definition of the hyphenated African-Hispanic -Americans . Another blown re-election issue was the impact of Supreme Court Appointments.. 18,000 new IRS agents and on and on. . Some were very briefly touched most were not
and Benghazi/ foreign policy was left to languish.

Lastly Then there is Obamas personal extravagance and behavior refusing to visit Nashville after its disaster showing up at New Orleans after Mitt visited it. Even after the Christi thing if that was brought up it would have blunted the impact.

Instead we got a sales pitch on executive ability but not the reason why one should toss the old model and buy his. That print and tv pitch , 20 million new jobs, was given a discrarded dose of skepticism .
