Hearing details:
WASHINGTON House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today announced three witnesses who will appear at a full committee hearing, Benghazi: Exposing Failure and Recognizing Courage, on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 11:30 AM in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
I applaud these individuals for answering our call to testify in front of the Committee. They have critical information about what occurred before, during, and after the Benghazi terrorist attacks that differs on key points from what Administration officials including those on the Accountability Review Board have portrayed, said Issa. Our committee has been contacted by numerous other individuals who have direct knowledge of the Benghazi terrorist attack, but are not yet prepared to testify. In many cases their principal reticence of appearing in public is their concern of retaliation at the hands of their respective employers. While we may yet add additional witnesses, this panel will certainly answer some questions and leave us with many new ones.
Witnesses: Mr. Mark Thompson
Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism
US Department of State
Mr. Gregory Hicks
Foreign Service Officer and former Deputy Chief of Mission/Chargé dAffairs in Libya
US Department of State
Mr. Eric Nordstrom
Diplomatic Security Officer and former Regional Security Officer in Libya
US Department of State
In October 2012, the Oversight Committee held the first hearing on the Benghazi attacks, which exposed denials of security requests and forced the Administration to acknowledge that the attacks were not sparked by a protest of a YouTube video, contrary to claims made by Obama Administration officials.
*** NOTE: Press seating will be reserved, but limited. Please arrive early (hearing room will open to press at 10:30 AM) to guarantee a seat. An overflow area will be available. ***

OH!!!!!!!!!! Hillary Clinton just got the responsibility for these people being in an unsecured embassy pinned right on her ass!
Sad, dead Americans just “bumps in the road” for these hacks.
She “represents” DC...thinks she’s important though she can’t vote on anything (being from DC)...have seen her in action at a DC airport...makes Mooch look humble....she won’t leave her post unless she’s carried out in a box....
Ms. Norton would be a school bus driver if it weren’t for affirmative action including race-based scholarships
Any American who knew at the time this attack was happening would want to go to the rescue...
any AMERICAN I said...
anyone who ignored the urgency or ordered our heroes to “Stand down” are not Americans...
That's the way I heard it too. The table is being set for more to come in futher hearings it seems.
Did she just say “We don’t want to get in to who or who wasn’t involved”? Yeah dumbass, we do! Love how Thompson just keeps on topic.
Are YOU INCONVENIENT to the 0bama Party Line? Here's your just rewards!
It was Clinton’s decision to send stevens
Only SecState can override the regs on security staffing. BOOM!
Exactly
Why was Ambassador Stevens headed to Benghazi? Clinton wanted Benghazi made into a permanent post.
So, from what I hear, the ambassador died because he was being “symbolic”. Wow. What a worthy cause. Stupid Hillary.
asking about WHy Stevens had to go to Benghazi then?
Oh, heck, it was so long ago, what difference does it make?
Therefore, Secretary of State Clinton HAD TO GRANT AN EXCEPTION TO THIS SITUATION DIRECTLY... "Only Secretary of State could grant exception"... This was because of testimony that Hicks was saying that the facility in Tripoli did not met "minimum security specs".
Go ahead because of the money set for Lybia.
Ah, the central question. Stevens in Benghazi... why?
Stevens had a meeting with the Syrian Ambassador the evening of the attack.
as did obama
