I may consider that offer some day — thank you! I have a son in Round Rock.
Well the liberals din’t believe in competition, and some schools brag about being non-competitive. According to them, having winners is not fair. No score should be taken and everyone should recieve a trophy for participation.
So someone wins and then of all things acknowledges God (gasp) the horrors!
I think Perry had his fill of that national politics snakepit. We here are much better off now that Rick has concentrated on being a good Texan that continues to be GOOD FOR TEXAS..
I like Gov. Perry but here is the but. Yes, he is a religious conservative, but I am afraid he will use the power of government to force his religious views on others. Don’t get me wrong. I would love to see atheletes of all stripes be allowed to express their beliefs on and off the field. I just do not want another big government program justifying that expression. I want to hear Perry or some other strong conservative start talking about how it is not the role of government to tell the citizens how to behave. I want to hear a conservative start talking about getting government - local/state/federal - out of our public and private lives and out of our wallets.
Gov. Perry damaged himself with the no heart statement concerning illegal immigrants.
I think Perry’s philiosophy is “duty”. He’ll be back in the Nationals!!
Reagan had that same heart.
Luv W,
Thanks for the ping.
Gov. Perry shows his typical Texas values.
Wish he could infect the rest of the country with Texas values - maybe we can make that happen, heheh.
Perry has many strengths, but thinking on his feet is not one of them. Hes a smart guy, but not a glib one.
