Michelle Obama's 'Plan B' Gun Control Effort

Plan B is not just a controversial morning-after pill; it's also an effort on Michelle Obama's part to paint anyone who doesn't agree with her husband's restrictive gun measures as people who are willing to force children to live their lives in terror. Michelle attempted to paint that picture during an interview with Lee Cowan on "CBS Sunday Morning," when she dredged up sob stories from her gun violence visit to Chicago last month.

The first lady said that after delivering her speech on gun violence in April, she was amazed at the extent to which Chicago's children were forced to live in subjugation to the fear of being shot. Thus, the unspoken premise of Michelle Obama's comments is that the cure for children in Chicago being dominated by the fear of being killed by a stray bullet is to subjugate the entire nation's Second Amendment rights.

Michelle shared that students at Harper High School in Englewood, Illinois told her, "Every day they wake up and wonder whether they're going to make it out of school alive." Mrs. Obama said, "I mean, every single kid worries about their own death, or the death of someone, every single day." Michelle Obama uttering those words is a prime example of liberal duplicity. This is a woman who supports 3,500 babies a day being aborted, and she's preaching to us about teenagers who, no thanks to her or her husband, miraculously made it out of the womb alive -- not making it out of school alive?

the kids would like it, however, if they were being defended from the hoodlums by a parent with a gun, just ask them

Michelle overestimates her influence, I think.

“Every day they wake up and wonder whether they’re going to make it out of school alive.”

Alright, who thinks this is the first thing on their minds when they wake up? Who would go to school if this is actually true?

Michelle is so concerned about kids that her job at a major Chicago hospital was to find new and innovatve ways to “turf” seriously sick kids to the County hospital where they got inferior care. She needs to be reminded that if fetuses could conceal-carry, there would be no abortion. There is no apparent concern for the aborted female fetuses who want to control what happens to their own bodies...like LIVE.

It must be the Chicago cops! Guns are illegal for anyone else.

And criminals wouldn’t break the law, would they?

How ‘bout Moochelle advocates banning all gangs in Chicago?
They have a gang violence problem, not a gun violence problem.

If they really wanted to affect gun violence, it would be simple.

Ban blacks from owning guns.

I’m not in favor of it, but if they REALLY wanted to “do something”, this would be it.

"Amazed"...huh?

What part of helping to cure this problem were you when you lived there?

Don't community activators (agitators), whatever your mister was, help this problem out?

Chicago has very, very strict gun laws. How's that working out?

Quit preaching and you do something instead of sob storying on the fears of children. Take a few vacations off and actively do something. Talk is very cheap.

Leave the 2nd Amendment alone - you don't understand it.

Just the "gangstas". It's not a race thing, it's an urban culture thing.

Big cities corrupt the human species, always have, always will.

Moochie was completely unaware of Chicago violence when she had her $300,000 per year “no show” job at the University of Chicago Hospital, run by her pal Valerie Jerret.

Emotional Blackmail: straight out of the leftist playbook.

Refuse to argue issues on their merits. Instead, accuse your adversary of not caring about the plight of (fill in the blank), so that any counterarguments, regardless of how much sense they make, will appear to be "unfeeling".

WHO is doing all the shooting in Chicago?

MEET THE SHOOTERS---on the path to US citizenship via the Rubio/Schumer reform bill.
Mexican cartels dispatch agents deep inside US - into non-border states

CHICAGO (AP) — Mexican drug cartels whose operatives once rarely ventured beyond the US border are dispatching some of their most trusted agents to live and work deep inside the United States — an emboldened presence that experts believe is meant to tighten their grip on the world's most lucrative narcotics market and maximize profits.

If left unchecked, authorities say, the cartels' move into the American interior could render the syndicates harder than ever to dislodge and pave the way for them to expand into other criminal enterprises such as prostitution, kidnapping- and-extortion rackets and money laundering.

In Mexico, the cartels are known for a staggering number of killings — more than 50,000, according to one tally. Beheadings are a signature. So far, cartels don't appear to be directly responsible for large numbers of slayings in the United States, though the Texas Department of Public Safety reported 22 killings and five kidnappings in Texas at the hands of Mexican cartels from 2010 through mid- 2011. Still, police worry that increased cartel activity could fuel heightened violence.--SNIP--

In Chicago, narco/cop Commander James O'Grady, said street-gang disputes over turf account for most of the city's uptick in murders last year, when slayings topped 500 for the first time since 2008.

Although the cartels aren't dictating the territorial wars, they are the source of drugs. Riley's assessment is stark: He argues that the cartels should be seen as an underlying cause of Chicago's disturbingly high murder rate. "They are the puppeteers," he said. "Maybe the shooter didn't know and maybe the victim didn't know that. But if you follow it down the line, the cartels are ultimately responsible." (NY POST EXCERPT)
