Rush Limbaugh people are saying its not El Rushbos fault that ad sales have fallen at his flagship WABC and he made it clear this weekend if the networks boss keeps declaring it is, he just may pack up his megadittoes and leave.
In New York, that would very likely take him to WOR, which would create the biggest shakeup in city talk radio since WOR scooped up Bob Grant after WABC fired him in 1995.
Limbaughs contract with WABC expires at the end of the year.
Lew Dickey, the CEO of WABC parent company Cumulus, has said Limbaughs controversial comments have diminished ad revenue for the past year and the slump remains a residual hangover for the station.

Yep, I like to laugh..especially first thing in the morning.
Makes the whole day go better. :)
WABC Radio, NY.
The fact that Rush is book-ended by Geraldo and Hannity doesn’t help.
Imus, Rush, Levin, and Bachelor are excellent. Geraldo is unbearable, and Hannity is farm team.
>> Mark Simone, who used to host the WABC Saturday morning
Weekends are irrelevant. Commuting and lunch hours are king.
WABC shouldn’t have replaced Joe Crummy with Geraldo.
WABC Radio should dump Geraldo, and give Hannity a chance to improve his tiresome programming — the boy interrupts way too much, and comes across as a belligerent fool.
“I wish Rush would used short wave”

I once listened to Rush via Armed Forces Radio...maybe 30 years ago on shortwave.
I now listen to Rush, Savage, and others via DAR.fm
It lets me play back any radio program at my convenience.
I can even fast forward through commercials and breaks.
It is a fantastic internet site/service, especially for us expats that are 12 hours away.
My computer does not have to be online during showtime.
The talking heads on the alphabet nets will be frothing at the mouth talking about this Rush scandal and gleefully bumping the Benghazi event into the deepest nether regions of the news priority vault.
My favorite local radio talk show host is Mark Davis:If he's any one of the Marks that sits in for Rush (other than Steyn) he's unbearable, even painful to listen to..
Limbaugh: Dont blame me for WABCs declining ad salesRubio's fault.
Hey Rush, dump Rubio. No one will cause you more trouble than your "friends".
“Ferguson sucks.”
I have never listened to any radio host that sucks.
That would make me ignorant, not them.
Love Steve Deace these days.
Rush should start his own network....even buy some AM stations. He would make more $$$ being his own man. Stations around the nation would go to war to land his show
Can't stand Hannity, he keeps repeating the same ten things over and over and never lets the guests talk.
Wish I could stay home all day and listen to Rush. He always cheers me up with his wit and wonderful sense of humor. No other conservative talk show host can reach his level of entertainment, and all this while overcoming the handicap of losing his hearing. He’s a great man.
Maybe their is no market not because of Rush, but the fact that his audience has left the building...
Especially after the former Gov noted he should have did his tax hikes earlier if it got rif of Rush...
I wonder how many have moved to TN, TX, etc and other tax free or business and Liberty friendly Republican States...
This is the station that I listen to Rush on and he is right. They have Imus and then Geraldo on in the morning, both of whom are boring and afraid of the establishment. Their hourly newsfeeds are from ABC and ridiculuosly biased. And WABC is based in NYC where the liberal and the limpwristed go to feel safe and complain. I hope he does leave. WOR would be a much better choice.
If he went to satellite I would renew my subscription to Sirius which I dropped after they dropped Fox Talk Radio.
Bingo. Although I agree with Hannity’s views, he really is sort of a wind-up toy. And his endless ‘shoot outs’ are always cause for changing the station.
Abc has gotten rid of a lot political progamming lately. This is no surprise.
No. I have satellite in my car. I refuse to pay for the service. Most people don’t have satellite. I would rather pay for him on the Internet on 24/7’than satellite
